Amanda Carpenter: Clintonista Already Dishing Out Oppo Hit Pieces on Steele (FR mentioned)
Townhall ^ | January 30, 2009 | Amanda Carpenter

Well, that didn't take long.

Hillary Clinton's former research director dished up a nasty hit-piece memo on Michael Steele hours after he was elected the GOP's first black RNC Chairman.

He cites shaky resources like Think Progress, a blog for the lefty Center for American Progress for his research. This would be like me linking to comments on FreeRepublic to back up my facts.

Steele's clearly got the Dems scared.

And, I wonder why Hillary's old research man had oppo sitting around on Steele...?

Here's a sampling of some of the disgusting comments already being posted on the Huffington Post regarding Steele's race and new status in the GOP:

I guess the GOP tried to pull a McCain (pandering to women with Palin as his running mate) by trying to pander to the African-American community and possibly other minorities.

How nice for them, they managed to find a African American in their party. I guess they think this is their "Teflon" against Obama now LOL, LOL. "We can say all the racists stuff we want now" we're covered!

Expect a lot more talk like this from the Left. I'd also expect Steele to FIRMLY put them in their place in some of his early interviews.

I know this is blasphemy, but I find her quite a bit more attractive than Ann or Michelle. I also like Mary Katherine Ham.

“they managed to find a African American in their party.”

Yep, one without a white mom from Kansas and a dad from Kenya.

American Center for Progress - Young lady from that org., Heather Boushey, on Cavuto's show last night. She was adamant that spending, not tax cuts, were the only way out of this current econ. morose. Neil and she continually tried talking over each other as the former repeatedly asked when in our history spending actually spurred econ growth.
Miss Boushey, assuming a very smug attitude, insisted that FDR's New Deal was what led the U.S. out of it's depression era. And she insisted on citing 1982 has a catastrophic time, as if she had a personal grudge against Reagan. Miss Boushey also wasn't to keen on tax cuts creating econ expansion.
Despite all this, I couldn't help thinking how cute she was and probably fun to be with, as long as politics or economics wasn't broached.

They are scared stiff of the GOP making inroads into any of their pet special-interest groups: blacks (eg., Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele) or women (Sarah Palin), hispanics (Alberto Gonzales). So they have to destroy them before that happens.

The white liberals have never had much of a clue.

I recall the Clarance Thomas hearings. Late into the night with what looked like an empty chamber and maybe one Senator left on the panel Thomas' black supporters were allowed to testify.

The MSM employees marveled at these young people's mastery of the issues. Shocked might be a better word.

The network commentators couldn't stop talking about how each one excelled, men and women. It was like the network employees were saying, "But, but.. how can these black people be competent. We should be speaking for them against Thomas' ilk. They've never been allowed.. I mean they're suppose to be demanding a chance . . . ."

I sense a lot of projection on the part of the left.

Remember that when Steele was running for Senator, the Dhimmicraps illegally invaded his credit records, “fired” two scapegoats (who took the fall for Upchuck Schumer himself, IMO), and then paid them for 5 months after “firing” them. (Working from home, I guess.)

So none of this is surprising. If it weren’t for dirty play, the Dhimmicraps would be out of the game. They know they lose if they play the game fairly.

And what's wrong with Thoroughbreds?

My little girl on my homepage is a registered T'bred - War Admiral and Northern Dancer breeding. She's an old lady now and I just retired her -- but she's still a pretty thing.

I used to own a racing QH named Going Limits -- Three Bars and Top Deck breeding. He was 85th percentile when he was racing. His head wasn't quite on straight but he was fast and a great jumper.

Dear Amanda Carpenter,

FACT: There isn’t a single mainstream news source that can be trusted more than ANY Free Republic reply picked at random.

FACT: Information and analysis posted at Free Republic self-corrects to a far greater and more timely extent than does information in the MSM as the FR thread discussions move on.

Thus FR is a better, MORE reliable source than any mainstream media source.

Is this the same oppo guy who illegally downloaded Michael Steele’s credit reports when he was running for the Senate???

Did that person ever go to jail or not???? Does anyone care?

(Steele’s credit reports, by the way, turned out to be clean)

Well said, DoughtyOne.

...I for one, will ignore anything the Big Lie (MSM) says about Michael Steele, for I learned not log ago they are the Democrat Party's brown nosed bootlickers.

If you look at the DNC Talking points and any headline from the New York Times, you will notice the content is quite similar, except the journalists use extra words for filler.

He cites shaky resources... This would be like me linking to comments on FreeRepublic to back up my facts.

Hmmm, I wonder why she made that comparison.

O'Reilly compared FR to KOS, now an ally equating FR's comments to another left wing website?

She would be well advised to check this website a little closer before making offhand statements like that.
