President Barack Obama is inviting a group of lawmakers -- some Republicans, many Democrats, and a few from Pennsylvania and Arizona -- to join him for Sunday's championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.

Actually, I believe EVERY activity of the President (outside of the private residence) is PUBLIC....has to be....so this is nothing new that someone in the press publicized it.

I was wondering why Obama would invite this Congresscritter, until I read on another thread that it looks like NH's RINO Senator, Judd Gregg, WILL get the Secy of Commerce spot, which will allow NH Dem Gov Lynch to appoint a Dem to the open NH Senate seat. I'm betting Hodes was invited 'cause the deal is done, and Obama just wants to butter him up.

It would have been far classier to have quietly gone to Walter Reed or other military rehab center and host a Super Bowl party for the troops.

Obama and his elites party while thousands suffer from the ice storms. He will no doubt spend the weekend thinking of more anti-American destructive executive orders that will make the country less safe. This usurper has issued more executive orders in 2 weeks than Bush did in 8 years (ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration). But you gotta admit, the executive orders are flying fast and furious. No incrementalism in this administration. They’re going for maximum damage to the country.
I don’t think he has class IMHO. Your idea would have been far better & classier. But it might be too cold for 0 in Walter Reed or any military rehab. But he could have invited a few soldiers to the deluxe mansion in DC to watch the game.
It is sure to be an interesting game after he uses his Presidential Executive Order to redistribute the points equally among the teams after the goobermint takes 50%.
