COUPLES who have more than two children are being “irresponsible” by creating an unbearable burden on the environment, the government’s green adviser has warned.
Jonathon Porritt, who chairs the government’s Sustainable Development Commission, says curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming. He says political leaders and green campaigners should stop dodging the issue of environmental harm caused by an expanding population.
A report by the commission, to be published next month, will say that governments must reduce population growth through better family planning.

Does this mean that couples that have no children, or only one child will be able to sell child credits to another couple who want to have more than two?
I actually pause to see what country is contemplating such stupid policies... in the past I could safely assume it was some suicidal european country...
I posted a comment [or tried to, it looks like new comments are not being added]: "I've got more than two children, a lot more. Should I kill the youngest ones, the oldest ones, or take them all to a eugenics doctor to get a medical opinion on which of my excess CO2 generators should be terminated?"
I wonder what the author would recommend for your excess children and for mine. I wonder who would support civilization if responsible people like us didn't raise responsible children with a work ethic and traditional values. Yes I know, I love the show and their family! I stated 16 because the “greenies” were allowing 2 children per family. =).
