Bruce Springsteen now says he shouldn’t have made a deal to sell his greatest hits CD exclusively at Wal-Mart.

Fans criticized The Boss because Wal-Mart has been accused of unfair labor practices. Springsteen, on the other hand, has always supported workers’ rights.

“It was a mistake,” Springsteen said. “Our...

The question to ask Springsteen is what, exactly, changed with Walmart from the time he willingly signed the deal, and today?

Of course, nothing has changed. He is just not a very thoughtful man.

I don't need no steenkin' halftime show. I didn't even watch the wardrobe malfunction a few years ago.

Actually, I’m quite stunned that Walmart didn’t immediately clear all of his CD’s off the rack, take the hit on the loss and give Bruce an even larger lesson in how to operate business.

Now that....that would have been priceless!

Turned off the Super Bowl till the second half - watching the puppy bowl for 30 minutes. Currently the kittens are on, too bad they are playing music instead of letting us kear kitty sounds - the particular sound of belching out a hairball is an improvement over mister gravel voice. Plus the cats and dogs are more intelligent then “the Boss”.

I did go to the web site of our local nbc tv. They have a good clip of the ice storm.

I saw Springsteen live at the Obama rally in Clevland two days before the election (you know, the rally where the news was reporting there were 80,000 people there when there wasn't). It's not my fault, I was working at the time and had to be down there. I hollared at him, “Hey, Bruce, spread the wealth!”

Of course working man’s spokeman is essentially a union leader so, it makes sense he has no imagination other than to blame others for any of his failures...

I grew up on the Jersey shore (same age as Bruce). When young, he was not very political. But once he married the Phillips woman and moved to LA, he changed. He went from a clumsy kid from Highway 9 to movie star favorite.

I haven’t listed to him since “The River.” His music had leftist overtones (ala Woody Guthrie), but he didn’t emerge as a symbol of liberalism until Hollywood turned his.

Another millionaire liberal, willing to give away everyone else’s money.

I used to like him before he became political. Don’t get me wrong, he has the right to support whom he wants to support and to say what he wants to say. But once you come out and say how useless the president is, and insult him, then you run the risk of offending 46% of your potential audience.

Every time an artist starts spewing hatred towards people I support, that’s one more checked off my list. I don’t get rid of what I paid for, but I don’t spend another penny.

My list is long.
