Well, if I get to know them, then I’ll discover what they are like, and have to go somewhere else.
The worst are the churchy ones that are so smug, but you know they are rotten to the core -— “white washed tombs -— appear so pure, but full of corruption and death.”
It’s best I avoid finding out.
I haven’t discovered that in our church. I guess I’m blessed. All of us are rotten to the core without Jesus. In some ways we’re all hypocrites but God is able to deliver us from that as well. He sees His true children and He knows who loves Him. It’s better to serve than it is to sit in judgement of those we know are living a lie. Who knows, you could be a real witness to them. Don’t close them out. Remember, Christ died for them, too.

I, however, am too disagreeable to pull that off.
