Oh, this should be good. Really good. One of Hollywood’s hottest actresses versus America’s hottest governor.
Actress Ashley Judd and Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund have teamed up to target Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s environmental record. They’re upset because Palin allegedly promotes the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska.
“It is time,” Judd says, “to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery.”

I despise Ashley Judd! I think she stinks as an actress and she’a amazingly hypocritical by coming out defending wolves yet she protests for the right to kill millions of innocent babies every year by supporting abortion.
I think that because Miz Judd has impugned the character of Gov. Palin, a duel is in order:)
Plus I doubt Ashley Judd would look this good after 5 kids and being pummeled by the media for 6 months.

If I remember correctly I read somewhere that Mrs Judd’s mother shot at her first husband. (Or 2nd I may be wrong) Where is the protest in this? Domestic violence is OK, shooting animals is bad?

I’m not into Sarah adoration but has Ms. Judd ever seen a wolf pack take down a moose cow, eat her alive while her calves stand by and cry? Then after they have finished the cow they literally tear the calves apart and eat them while they are still alive. Somehow I don’t think she would have such sympathy for a savage eating machine like a wolf. I have a friend who does wolf hunts from his plane. It takes a lot of skill and saves a lot of moose.
Governor Palin is not party to this hollywood BS BTW. It’s Judds lame attempt to go after AK’s stand on predator controls.
I cannot respect anything a woman says who could harm a child, nor the woman for that matter. A human female who has no female instinct, (would kill human offspring) is mentally ill.

I think of people like Judd as being misguided rather than evil, like, say George Soros or Al Franken are. I think a lot of the Hollywood types just grab onto an issue they somehow feel passionate about and throw themselves behind it without having the complete story. She could make the same argument against just about any wildlife management program, and if she understood the reasons for the wolf hunt her rhetoric might be toned down a bit.

They introduced them into Montana and Idaho a few years ago. Guess what...they breed like like dogs. Who would of thought.
The elk heards are really old now. There aren’t a lot of cows and calves anymore. It’s only a matter of time before the wolves get them. And cows and sheep and small dogs and maybe even...gasp...your kid.
They may be beautiful but they aren’t noble...they are mean and vicious killers and eaters. A lot of the time they kill to kill.

What did Sarah do thats so unimpressive to you? Sounds like she was attacked in an ad. I haven’t heard her respond back at all, but certainly not directly towards the Judd moron. (with a parent in the horse racing industry, no less!)

I heard that it is illegal to shoot wolves from the air in Alaska and therefore a total lie about Palin. Wolves gotta eat, and they can’t go to the grocery store. It’s the cycle of life...
I liked Judd until I saw her at the Abortion rally last year. It’s her right to do and say whatever she wants - it’s my right not to help pay her bills.
