RSPCA animal shelter manager Jean Spencer said: 'The puppies are only seven weeks old. The fur on one of them was singed and the other has a small hernia.

'Fortunately, they are going to be fine.

Chad charcoal ban enflames public

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7853250.stm

A ban on the use of charcoal in Chad is making life hard for people already struggling with high food prices.

Families are being forced to burn furniture, cow dung, rubbish and roots of plants in order to cook.

Since the clampdown was announced - officially in order to help the environment - charcoal has become almost impossible to find.

a source said it would be extremely difficult to identify the culprits.

Bet I could identify the religion.

From the article...

“’The lady who brought them in was in quite a state when she got here. She walked here with a puppy under each arm and was clearly very distressed.

‘To think that children could be so cruel is really disgusting.’

She added: ‘The puppies are absolutely gorgeous. Everyone here has fallen in love with them.

‘They will stay here with us for just a few days before going to our RSPCA centre in Halifax, where staff will get them re-homed.’”

It reminds me of that horrible story about the 2 young boys in the UK kidnapping a toddler and killing him. Sick. Just sick. I think that happened around 1993.

When we visited last March....there was the teen that had disappeared but was found locked up in a trundle bed. Found out later....the parents planned the whole thing.

The world is going mad. Everywhere.

One of the most dangerous and incorrect premises of modern thought is that people are born with an innate sense of right and wrong. The majority of people, in almost every poll, agree with the statement, "If all the options are laid out, children will usually make the right choice."

You don't have to teach a child to push another kid down. You don't have to teach a child to steal, and you don't have to teach a child to torture puppies. You have to teach them NOT to do those things.

Im not one to jump to conclusions, so I think its about damn time we brought back corporal punishment for infractions such as these.

Bunch of knuckle dragging, zero-witted scum@*^&%^ that should be sent somewhere they are taught how to break big rocks into smaller ones.

The lady who challenged the kids is lucky. Honest. Anyone of those ‘kids’ could have been carrying a knife, and people have been murdered on the streets of the UK for far, far less.

I hang my head in shame that I’m British when I read stories like this. Its a minority, but damn they are very productive in their nasty little sub-human lives.

:(
