Why did AP wait till now to put up a stink. That nasty thing has been around for months.

That image of Obama is now on womens caftan type dresses on the fashion show line.
Pop culture Obama is so every where that I bet even those who voted for him are going to tire of the Image.
That picture was out there for months during the campaign. It’s interesting to note the AP is just now getting around to taking legal action after 0 gets elected.

It was only last week that the White House declared the media have to make to with White House released photos of Dear Leader and don't get to take their own.

The Associated Press is suing Shepard Fairey, the artist who created the famous red, white and blue Obama poster.
AP says it owns the copyright, and has demanded credit and cold, hard cash. Fairey disagrees although he has admitted the poster is based on an AP photograph taken at the National Press Club in Washington.
In related news, the Russian news agency Pravda may sue IHateTheMedia.com, the popular website that created the famous red, white and blue Lenin photo.
Pravda says it owns the copyright, and has demanded credit and a bottle of vodka. IHateTheMedia.com disagrees although they have admitted the poster is based on a Pravda photograph taken at the Kremlin in Moscow.
