The posters on the NY Daily News website are dissing Ms. James. They are saying that she is bitter and old and of course “The One” isn’t her President, Abraham Lincoln was. How rude. You can tell by those posts that Zero got elected by the American Idol crowd.
I think Beyonce is beautiful and her singing doesn’t offend me, but Etta James’ version of this song is just a stunning piece of music.

She might have been an okay model. She’s a hideous singer. Absolutely hideous.
It takes balls, or ovaries or whatever for Etta to say what she says. Kind of like Bridgette Bardot or Orianna Fallaci speaking out against muslims. Courage is rare but not altogether absent.
Sounds a little like sour grapes to me. Although she does definately have more of a right to sing her own song than Beyonce does, so I can understand her attitude. However I do love the negative publicity she’s giving Obama even though it will be spun like a top by MSM.
