UH OH - CLOCK HAS RUN OUT - THE WORLD HAS COME TO AN END BECAUSE WE DIDN'T PASS THE SPENDING BILL. TOO LATE....EVERYONE CAN GO HOME NOW.

I was watching CNBC when the $700 Billion boondoggle was being voted on by the House last fall.

At that time, it was the end of the world, if they didn't pass it. When it failed, the hosts and most commentators on CNBC went ballistic. They were ranting, almost crying.

The few commentators who made comments in favor of the defeat were quickly taken off mic/camera.

Now, we are there again with an end of the world, if this new boondoggle does not pass.

Another part of the problem is that interest rates are actually too low to attract investment money. That money is going elsewhere.

what was that about 13 senators working off the floor for a bipartisan plan? didn’t catch the dollar amount....but it sounded like they are going to try and cut 5 billion to call it bipartisan???? I really really dislike McCain.

mccain amendment is only 450 some billion. the senators off the floor are not mccain. they are trying to cut 50 to 200 billion from the original bill.
