"The Time For Action" (An email from the DCCC)
My email | Brian Wolff

Posted on 02/06/2009 9:25:17 AM PST by Past Your Eyes

Dear Past Your Eyes,

They just don't get it.

Even after unprecedented efforts by President Obama to reach across the aisle, every House Republican voted "no" on the Obama economic recovery plan.

Once again, Republicans have placed partisanship before millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet during these tough times. And, at their own retreat last week, Republicans actually cheered when they watched a video of their shameful vote.

At this defining moment, we cannot back down. That's why the DCCC has launched the Putting Families First grassroots campaign – with hard-hitting radio ads targeting 28 obstructionist Republicans.

Hold reckless Republicans accountable for opposing President Obama's economic recovery plan. Help us keep our ads on the air.

We need your support to help us maximize our ad buy and make sure the voters in these Republican districts know their representatives would rather stay in the good graces of Rush Limbaugh than meet the critical needs of their constituents.

Hold reckless Republicans accountable for opposing President Obama's economic recovery plan. Help us keep our ads on the air.

Our ads will expose Republicans' complete and total failure to meet the urgent needs of the American people.

These are serious times. Hard working families are worried about their jobs, health care and homes – they want action, not House Republicans cheering about doing nothing.

Hold reckless Republicans accountable for opposing President Obama's economic recovery plan. Help us keep our ads on the air.

Thank you,

Brian Wolff Executive Director, DCCC

Not sure how I got on their email list but it is good entertainment occasionally. I pass this on for your amusement. Don't you just love their "Putting Families First" label?

Yeah, coming from the anti-family party, that’s rich.

Even after unprecedented efforts by President Obama to reach across the aisle,...

Aside from a cocktail party, what efforts did Odumbo make? None.

Not sure what he’s complaining about since the Rats suppsoedly control both houses of Congress and the Executive. How’s this the Republicans’ fault, except that they refuse to give the Rats the political cover that Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are demanding?

Good for a laugh.

I love the smell of desperation reading that. LOL

They’re just trying to raise money from their sheeple and this is the typical way that they do it.

Hahaha, yes do remind the people who voted against this disaster. They can turn around and use those ads for their next campaign for re-election.

It’s always the (R) fault.

Remember everything was Bush’s fault. They can’t say that now so just like now Zero never gets blamed. It’s the “department”, the groups, or whatever.
Never the Zero or Zero’s administration, thanks to his media whores.

“Hold reckless Republicans accountable for opposing President Obama’s economic recovery plan.”

Reckless??? Because we ask for more than a week's debate over a matter of our country's future? Because we ask that every dime we don't have is allocated to get the most out of it? Right. Reckless.

“These are serious times. Hard working families are worried about their jobs, health care and homes – they want action”

and that's exactly what we're doing. We're serious about getting the help they need — not for a lousy $500 rebate check, but for their and their children's futures. Decisions made in fear are always bad decisions. That truth should be chiseled in stone and hung over the doorpost of every government building.

And we will have "community organizers," paid for by taxpayers (those non-Democrats who are suckers enough to pay their taxes) marching in your neighborhoods, you rich white Republicans.
