Hiya Ms B!
WBCQ in Me was just lamenting funding and wishing they could get a cut of the bailout money.
I sent this to Allan and he just read it on air:
“Hi Allan
Speaking of bailout money.
I hear there is like 400 million in there for the National Endowment for the Arts.
I am applying for a 1 million dollar grant to make a sculpture of Obama on a cross made of dollars in a jar of urine :)
Stay creative, and keep up the good work.
Rod in NE Tx”

"How-DEEEEEEE-EEEEE-EEEEE!!!!"
My idea may be to “edgy” for you country folks but I think them city slickers will like it L0L
Not too bad, thanks!
Just wish it were warmer up here!
Yuns thawed out yet?
We will get right to the pics so away we go...
First up a pair of F-15Es. What makes this pic special are the GIBs. In the foreground the GIB is Mike Shiplett. The backseater in the rear aircraft is Reed Sorenson. Mr Sorenson is the driver of the USAF sponsored NASCAR #43 car. Mike Shiplett is the #43 cars crew chief. I wonder how fast them Air Force lads went in the F-15s, eh? Now that's what I call an incentive flight:-)
Next up an A-10 Warthog takes off from a Southwest Asia airfield to provide Close Air Support for forces in Iraq. This A-10 would be from the 23 Fighter Group, IIRC this is the only USAF group authorized to wear the shark mouth on their aircraft.
A CV-22 Osprey aircraft from the 8th Special Operations Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Fla., flies Jan. 31 over Florida's Emerald Coast.
A flight of three F-22 Raptors fly over the Pacific Ocean as part of a deployment to Anderson Field on Guam. The Raptors are based out of Elmendorf Air Base in Alaska.
Capt. Johnnie Green performs acrobatic maneuvers in an A-10 Thunderbolt II Jan. 29 during a certification flight at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The A-10 East Coast Demonstration Team is standing up for the first time since its move from Pope AFB, N.C.
And to close out tonights Flyby we have this lovely picture of a Boeing B-52 being refueled by a KC-135 Startotanker Over the Pacific Ocean. These aircraft are out of Anderson Field on Guam as part of Exercise Tropic Fury in January of this year.
Y'all have great weekend out there and stay safe. With a wee bit of luck we will be back tomorrow night with the Saturday Sortie.
Regards
