I’ve been wondering for a long time when someone would make the connection between abandoned women and the slide into socialism.
His programs insured that the black gentleman who earned wages and sat at the head of the table was replaced by welfare checks and food stamps.
When we add his years in office to Nixon, Carter, Bush I, Clinton and now Obomba the end result is the totaling of America.

WWI-A needless war that we shouldn’t have entered.

WWII- We fought the war that was guaranteed by the ridiculous Versaille treaty, Russia added to their empire and we went home.
Korea-Stalemate against a third-rate nation. HST canned McArthur who would have won the war carrying it to China. Russia would have stayed home.
Vietnam-War waged by stupid politicians that guaranteed the handover of that nation to the communists.
I couldn’t edit something someone else wrote.
You would think, however, the paper would have done some editing, but then considering what’s working at editorial desks these days there’s no surprise.
With a son and two daughters I worried that they'd marry some liberal, but never happened.
My ten grandchildren have grown up conservative as well.
I know you didn’t do that.
Somehow I don’t think papers edit. They can’t even write things THEMSELVES that are correct. (Things really went downhill with the PC and word processing.)
In the old days if a piece such as this was printed, it’d be full of “(sic)” to show the reader that it a) wasn’t their fault and b) it’s not the correct way to write something. Double job, which probably helped keep people in line about grammar.
But enough complaining off-topic....
MacArthur's strategy of "denying the enemy bases" by definition involves continually advancing to prevent the enemy from developing new bases. Somehow I doubt a full-fledged invasion and conquest of a Red China of well over half a billion people backed up by a nuclear USSR was a good idea.
The Declaration of Independance says:
“ That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government....”
I say get rid of this one and get back to the Constititon as written.
