Another senator lines up behind 'Fairness Doctrine'

WASHINGTON – Another Democratic U.S. senator has gone on record as supporting the reinstatement of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine," adding, "I feel like that's gonna happen."

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., told radio host and WND columnist Bill Press yesterday when asked about whether it was time to bring back the so-called "Fairness Doctrine": "I think it's absolutely time to pass a standard. Now, whether it's called the Fairness Standard, whether it's called something else – I absolutely think it's time to be bringing accountability to the airwaves. I mean, our new president has talked rightly about accountability and transparency. You know, that we all have to step up and be responsible. And, I think in this case, there needs to be some accountability and standards put in place."

The liberal talk radio station that carried Bill Press is no more. The free market prevailed. Maybe he can get a job on NPR.

Obama Radio crashes and burns in DC

By the time Barry’s first four years are over, there won’t be enough space left on the internet for his list.

“Mr. Stabenow is an exec at Err America. Corrupt cow.”

Exactly. She should not be allowed to vote on this issue. This is the very definition of conflict of interest.

Where are Stabenow's tax returns?

Her office claims her husband is not in the broadcasting bidness anymore. Maybe he has become a pimp?

Oh yes Senator, having 95 percent of the media as an arm of the DNC is just not enough. You must get rid of the few who disagree with you. You commie POS.

Hey, aren't you 'Rats listening to BO?
"To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history, but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist."

So when does the book burning begin?

the so-called “Fairness Doctrine, is a violation of the 1st amendment.

I also believe what the democrats have in mind is something that will apply only to republicans.

Arlen Specter is a Lawyer.
While elected to represent the people of Pennsylvania he instead has always represented the Law.
He votes on bills like a lawyer.
Hopefully he will be unseated in the next election.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich

A lot of people are unaware that Senator Debbie Stabenow’s husband had been seeing a shrink. He was concerned that Debbie was trying to poison him. The psychiatrist tried to convince him it was all in his head. The psychiatrist finally agreed to visit with Debbie to determine the roots of his fear. After spending a short time with Debbie, the psychiatrist’s advice was to drink the poison.

Debbie’s husband did not take his advice. They are reports he took up spending time with another woman instead.

The only way her husband would know the difference between a whorehouse and home is that he would meet a better class of people in a whorehouse. There is no bottom when you talk about how low our selected representatives can sink.

Scary true. Most of the Pubs could care less about civil liberties. When they were in office, all they did was shoot the pork to their buddies.

we just need to email the office of Stabenow and say “I will support this if you apply the fairness doctrine to federally funded schools”. That should shut her up.

it is important not to let leftists frame the argument. ask the mod to put “censorship doctrine” in parentheses next to the title.
