Taliban release tape of Polish engineer’s death

A video tape showing the last moments of the Polish captive in Pakistan, killed on Saturday by the Taliban, has been handed into the Reuters office in the north western town of Dera Ismail Khan.
The tape shows two men cutting off the head of Piotr Stanczak, a Polish engineer who was kidnapped by the Taliban last September in the Attock region, near the border with Afghanistan.
A statement by the Taliban in Pakistan on Saturday said that they would not be delivering the body of the engineer unless certain conditions were met, including the release of prisoners. But they would deliver the video of his death, said the spokesman known as ‘Mohamed”.
Stanczak becomes only the second foreign kidnap victim to be killed in Pakistan since American journalist Daniel Pearl was beheaded in 2002.
And our big concern is waterboarding!

Such symbolism exhibited by these backward animals in the beheading of an engineer. The same engineer no doubt working to move that country, in some small way, into the 21st century.

So why doesn't Pakistan behead the prisoners they wanted released and send a video of the executions to the Taliban. It would end all kidnappings of this sort in the future. I guess that makes too much sense.
I think zero really does believe he can win over our enemy by using his Hope and Change and ACORN crap that got him elected. I suppose the enemy won’t be as gullible as the Americans who voted for him.
May the Commandments be taken and Taliban killed as they killed this innocent man.

I think you are correct. He has really shown his destructive hand in the first two weeks.

They can use the video to prove to Obama that Islam IS a religion of peace. Then they, too, can be on his all-inclusive Council of Religions. I wonder if Druids won’t be invited too? And of course the Aztecs who have been so sorely maligned but really didn’t REALLY play hockey with heads.

I just don’t understand how they can think of themselves as the good guys.
What gets me angry is this: If they did this to Pelosi we’d be dropping bombs right now. Heck, if they did it to Tom Cruise we’d reign “dath” on them.

You got that right. If they did this to Oprah nearly every liberal in the country would be calling for Islam to be extinghuished from the face of the earth. But Danny Pearl or Piotr Stanczak? Big yawn.
