Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow has said she wants to re-introduce the Fairness Doctrine.
So to be completely fair, we dont remember this story from the Detroit Free Press (April 2, 2008) getting too much coverage:
Thomas Athans, the husband of U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow and cofounder of a liberal talk radio network, told Troy police detectives that he paid a prostitute $150 for sex at a Troy hotel in late February, according to a police report obtained Wednesday by the Free Press under the Freedom of Information Act Athans was pulled over by police on I-75 minutes after leaving the Residence Inn on Livernois, just east of I-75 and south of Big Beaver, the evening of Feb. 26 When questioned during the stop, he acknowledged he had been at the hotel with a woman he met on the Internet. On further questioning, he acknowledged he had paid the woman $150 for oral sex.
He was pulled over south of Big Beaver?
Please supply your own punchline.
Headline of the Day.
On route 69, Big Beaver is indeed South.
“Big Beaver”? I thought it was “Nice beaver”.
eh, I did not pen the title—just posted it ;)
Uh, if you read the article, it is a town in Michigan, but there is a certain “irony” in it as well.
South of Big Beaver? Did he miss?
I can see why he preferred the hooker to the wife
Puller over or pulled out?
Is this another Craig’s List love match?
Why did the idiot admit to such a thing? Just say, "I don't recall at the moment due to stress."
Some of us just call it “16 Mile Rd.”
Um...it also crosses “Crooks Rd.” No joke.
If it was south of Big Beaver, that might be why he was seeing the hooker. The wife prolly told him anything south of Big Beaver was off limits.
LOL! I guess so. It's on route 59, not 69.
The scandal is that a leader of the Fairness Doctrine revival has a husband who stands (or stood) to gain from her efforts. Who cares what the husband’s screwing? Liberal talk never makes any money, always goes bust, but Senatorette Nanny-nows gonna give her husband’s liberal talk shows some Affirmative Action if she can.
I didn’t see it mentioned that he was an executive CEO at failed Air America?
I've actually been on it.
Whoo boy, this could be trouble.......
