OMG!

How dare you post such an insulting, stupid, hateful piece???

Yeah, Philadelphia, we’ve had a little slump in our murder rate, but all truly great cities do. We still have an unbroken chain of democrat rule that spans more than 50 years. We have staggering corruption, crime, litter, a bankrupt city, and so much more.
And what we’ve lost in murders, we’ve more than made up for with an infestation of illegal aliens.

And nary a mention.

Flint? How exactly is that different from Detroit? Ridiculous.

Where’s the love?

I can vouch for Miami. Most of south florida has turned into an area resembling a third world nation.

What do you expect when you flood an area with both the underclass and the moneyed criminal class of Latin America?

How do Grand Rapids or Phoenix figure on the list?
I may have to relocate in order to stay employed.

“I can vouch for Miami. Most of south florida has turned into an area resembling a third world nation.”

Careful, the media (and some republicans!) practically castrated Tancredo for saying that.

I have no life so, I ran some numbers. ;-) FYI:

America's Most Miserable Cities

Referrence link.

Rank City Most Liberal Ranking
1 Stockton, CA 112
2 Memphis, TN 39
3 Chicago, IL 17
4 Cleveland, OH 11
5 Modesto, CA 189
6 Flint, MI 10
7 Detroit, MI 1
8 Buffalo, NY 25
9 Miami, FL 120
10 St. Louis, MO 20

Table Tutorial

Average Miserable city ranking on Most Liberal List: 54.4

237 City Ranking
1 being the most Liberal
237 being the most Conservative
Median Rank: 54.4 (Mid-point)
1-79=Liberal, 80-159=Moderate, 160-237=Conservative.

Results:

Liberal Half of the 20 Most Miserable Cities are defined as Liberal Cities by Most Liberal City Study
Seventy percent of Most Miserable Cities are in the top 50% of Most Liberal Cities Study
List Includes THE Most Liberal City in the country.
ALL Miserable Cities listed are in blue states
Conservative One city fitting the study's definition of Conservative.
That city not in the top 100 Most Conservative.

There are likely other contributing factors to this data but, it does seem to indicate that Liberal cities tend to be miserable. Further study is warranted, don't you think?

ooooh...The Media!

After all The Media desn't have an ideological axe to grind, right?

Tancredo uttered a truth but he should have found a more discreet way to say it, or he should have kept it to himself and just worked to correct the situation.
