Indian women launch pink knicker protest against radical Hindu group

The Consortium of Pub-going, Loose and Forward Women has asked members to send pink knickers to them in protest at attacks by the SRS Jeremy Page in Delhi

A group of young Indian women is planning to send pink knickers to a Hindu radical organisation that attacked women in a pub last month and has vowed to target unmarried couples celebrating Valentine's Day.

The Consortium of Pub-going, Loose and Forward Women — which had 7,422 members as of this afternoon — is also urging Indian women to defy the radicals by going to their nearest pub and enjoying a drink on Saturday.

The group was founded on Facebook on Thursday in protest at the Sri Ram Sena (SRS), or Lord Ram's Army, which assaulted young women in a bar in Mangalore, a once cosmopolitan city in the southern state of Karnataka, last month.

The past few years, I've seen some pretty smokin' hot Indian chicks.

I guess they just started making them.

However on the hot or not hot scale:

Not hot: Granny Panties.

There are certain ancient Hindu temples covered with finely detailed carvings of people having sex in positions my back could never take, and the religion has an entire book, the Kama Sutra, devoted to the joys of sex. Bollywood movies feature very attractive young women dancing up a storm. How does a "Hindu radical" organization end up complaining about something as inoffensive as Valentine's Day? I've read that certain Hindu extremists have absorbed the worst aspects of radical Islam - guess it's true.

Nice humorous post on the “arms of Vishnu” Maybe we should follow the Ann Coulter advice and force the bastards onto Christianity.

Mutalik rubbishes pink chaddi campaign

10 Feb 2009, 2156 hrs IST, TNN

HUBLI: Rashtriya Hindu Sene (RHS) founder president Pramod Mutalik has rubbished the pink chaddi campaign of Consortium of Pub-Going, Loose and Forward Women as "a base tactic to shy away from the core issue of Indian culture".

Reacting to their desperate move to gift pink chaddies to RHS' front organization Sri Rama Sene, which spearheaded the attack on girls at a Mangalore pub last month, Mutalik said he was game for an ideological debate with the promoters of the blog.

Speaking to TOI from Miraj in Maharashtra on Tuesday, Mutalik said the move reflected the desperate mindset of these women. "Since they are women, stooping to the level of gifting undergarments will defame them only," he observed.

"Instead of talking at such base levels on the issue of Indian culture that I have raised, it will be better to debate it at the ideological level. I am prepared for that. Let there be a discussion on it across the table," Mutalik said.

He said RHS has no plans for contesting the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The candidates fielded by RHS in several north Karnataka constituencies during the last assembly elections could no even save their security deposits.

A former South India convener of Bajrang Dal, a front organization of RSS, Mutalik had parted ways with the saffron outfit to launch the state unit of the Shiv Sena. But on differences over Marathi-speaking areas of Belgaum, he disbanded the party unit and floated RHS.

I like this idea.

A laundry mishap a few weeks ago left me with a pair of pink underpants. I've been too cheap to just throw them out but I would be willing to donate them to a worthy cause.

I'm neither Indian nor a woman, but I can't stand busybody neanderthals of any race or creed.

Muthalik insults Hinduism by trying to foist slamic values on Hindus (like telling women to cover themselves from head to foot etc.)

EXCELLENT WORK SIR!!!

In fact, about a year ago, I came upon a Pakistani family, and not only was the 20 something daughter so striking that my heart still races thinking about her, but the mother, in her early 50’s qualified as a knock out.

It's probably me, but I just don't remember this being the case 20 years ago.
