The other shooting:

"On Jan. 31, officers went to Community Regional Medical Center where a gang member told them that he was walking near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and East Eugenia Avenue when someone shot him in the foot.

The officers determined, however, that he had shot himself near Ashlan and Marks Avenue. The gang member was arrested on suspicion of being an ex-felon in possession of a loaded or stolen handgun and several other weapons- elated charges."

What a darn shame — that only one gang member helped cleanse the gene pool.

He’ll still get confirmed won’t he?

(Sure he’s gotta be anti-gun in the Obama administration, but that don’t mean he can’t have his own. Geitner’s pro-tax, right?)

The scroat died of a leg wound (just dam’n!) — rotten luck for him.

I wonder whether it was blood loss, infection, or shock. Most gunshot wounds to the leg are survivable if adequate first aid is sought and applied.

I guess the gangs are short of medics, ay. That’s a dumb oversight.

And at 31-years old, what’s this scroat doing belonging to a gang? Isn’t he a bit old for that? And shouldn’t he know, by 31 years of age, never to drink while handling firearms? And in a gun-culture society like the US, shouldn’t he also know, at 31 years of age, how to safely clean a gun, without shooting himself in the leg???

Hell’s bells, they are making Crims and Scroats stupider these days!

That’s getting pretty old for a gang member.

Especially one who’s not in prison.

Probably blood loss/shock judging from the article. He likely hit a major blood vessel. You don’t have long if you clip a femoral artery. What would be ironic is if he used a cell phone to call 911 and was too drunk to give coherent directions. Darwin wins again.

Best news since the Community Organizer was crowned. These gangstas probably did not have those snazzy Homeboy Night Sights (TM) on these pistols (for shooting sideways), and did not know where the weapon was pointing.

Obama’s fault!
