A Tucson, Arizona homeowner alerted of an impending home invasion by his security cameras, armed himself and took matters into his hands when four armed suspects attempted to break into his home last week.
In the surveillance video you see a vehicle pull up, and four men run out.
One of them is carrying what appears to be an AR-15 or M-16, a weapon which could be fully automatic.
The robbery happened in broad daylight.
All the action was caught by the homeowners outdoor surveillance system.
“The victim was able to get back inside his house, close his door, semi barricade it, reach for a weapon that was easily accessible,“ said Pima County Sheriff’s Deputy Earl Gieron.
The homeowner shot at the suspects.
He even put a bullet through the windshield of the suspects car, which is also caught on camera.
The four men retreated and took off....
People living in the neighborhood heard all the gunshots, and saw the aftermath....
Lawrence Cruz lives down the street from where the attempted home invasion happened.
“I am very watchful where we live and I think everybody has right to defend their property,“ said Cruz.
Detectives did find the suspect’s vehicle, but the four men are still on the run.
One of the suspects has been identified as 23-year-old Jesus Mendivil.
It’s believed he was shot in the arm.
The three other men are all described as Hispanic males between 17 and 25-years-old.

As usual, criminals are cowards. They were expecting an easy unarmed mark and when the home owner shot back, they ran like little children.

Did the homeowner send a “gracias” note to former President GW Bush for the open borders and “protecting America” since 9/11??
I would guess that this was probably gang related all the way around. (Which doesn’t mean that isn’t some good video.)
You can just see how they were going to be so cool, their raid would be just like the movies.

I am a little curious about the victim myself.
Is the MSM reporting a dramatic increase by perps using M-16s, AK-47s, SKS and other "assault rifles" in the past 6 months ?
Home surveillance cameras have come way down in price. I suggest everyone that can afford them get them.
Too bad the homeowner didn’t drop a couple of these cockroaches. No doubt a couple of these roaches were illegals, doing their robberies Mexican style in broad daylight.

Now that I watch the video I suspect the guy was targeted because of his wealth. What little I see of him doesn’t look like a gang banger.
Probably a business owner, jewelry business...Who knows.
What is know is these types are really becoming targets by organized packs of cockroaches.
Which is all the more reason to put away career criminals for a long time (no plea bargain) whenever they are caught.
They probably thought they had found an easy target.
