Blame it on Johnsons Great Society.

President Johnson. LOL. Couldn't be more aptly named. Really rogered the rest of US. (Pun intended)

You tagged Johnson’s “Great Society” very nicely.

And, every Democrat and Republican effort to “fix” the Great Society has just made matters much worse.

Shame on us for allowing the insanity to continue!

You’ll note, to move to the present day, that the “stimulus” bill is being referred to as a “great win for the Democrats.”

Nowhere, nowhere! is America mentioned. FRiday the 13th has taken on a whole new meaning.

“Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and he’ll spend the whole damn day fishing.”

or: Build a man a fire and he will be warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

This is the way the left tries to recycle conservatives. About 150 million killed by their own governmentsm in the last century. Anyone have numbers killed by “conservative governments?”

FRiday the 13th has taken on a whole new meaning.

Does this mean others will start thinking of Zero as Freddy Kreuger and I won't be the only one anymore?

I’ve never voted for a Democrat in my life.

The Democrats I could have voted for never passed my smell test — they all smelled like LIEberals!

Our last best hope is they have killed the golden goose.

My God, I hope it is a phoenix.

I can’t photoshop but I have some ideas for someone who can.

Change the hope poster to hopeless and/or clueless .

I’m ready to start printing and selling the “Don’t blame me, I voted for Sarah” bumper stickers.

My only excuse.. It was hard to break out of the FDR democrat indoctrination.

My gdad started a union and retired president of the state AFL CIO before the thugs forced him out.

However, I have rescued several of my family members from their folly.

Kind of feels like being Roman under Caligula.

Might as well name his “horse” senator.

You know like talking, chewing... [LOL] I can forgive him pretty much everything else (amnesty, free meds for rich old folk, making the income tax MORE progressive even while cutting rates, elevating EPA to cabinet level, NCLB, meeting Ted "Kopechne Killer" Kennedy without gouging out his eyeballs, etc.) on the basis of his dedication to the WOT (which I assume is your "one thing") as well as for his excellent SCOTUS nominations. I just wish he got one more.

Oh, yeah, and add to his bad list Wrong side of Bean, Wrong side of Kelo (IIRC), Wrong side of Heller, threw Scooter Libbey under the bus, threw Campion and Ramos under the bus, etc., etc.

Bush had the most unblessed administration since FDR.

Started with the Chinese forcing down a plane before the presidential chair was even warm.

9/11, the tsunami, Enron, Katrina.

But he was focused on the WOT as the single most important issue.. it made him loose sight of many other issues.

To his credit he tried to wave the red flag on Fannie and Freddie but without republican support he was screwed.

but ditto on all the items you mentioned.

Compassionate conservatism doesn't work.. Offering an olive branch to a liberal is like expecting an shark to stop when they have only chewed off one leg.
