WASHINGTON -- A Maryland woman was charged Friday with exporting miniature controls for small unmanned aircraft to China.

The government says the controls are the world's smallest and involve a technology that cannot be shared with China because of national security concerns. The devices can be used to fly small military reconnaissance planes.

Yaming Nina Qi Hanson of Silver Spring, Md., is accused of taking the controls to China last August without a required export license. If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

So give her 20 years without parole and a $1 million fine. Then keep her in prison for a full 20 years.

If only she was Obamas #1 political donor and she owned a company that wanted to do a test launch in China. Then they could have an accident and all these parts could have been “lost”. She ain’t Loral-thats for sure.

I have a Chinese co-worker, whom I like very much, so it’s hard for me to make a blanket statement, but I don’t know that there is a way to make exceptions.

We let too many people have access to our secrets who come from enemy countries originally. Some are American citizens and some are considered US Persons because they have their Green Cards. In the name of PC, we are giving the house away.

SNIPPET from the link in post no. 1:

"Qi Hanson told agents she works for Italian airline seat manufacturer Geven and had relationships with Chinese government and airline industry officials from her time studying at the Chinese University of Civil Aviation.

A spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office said Hanson, who works at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the patient safety office, had not yet been charged in the case."

Read the article. Her husband, Harold, is in this as deep as Qi is. (pardon the linguistic pun)
Controls from a Canadian company who told him these were export controlled items, he lied to them about his intentions, also lied to the USPS about them being stolen while the wifey poo hand-carried them back to the PRC/PLA.

Think 'honeypot'...she will get her Heroes of the Revolution Medal.

Typical Montgomery County government employee liberals, milking the hind teet of the taxpayers using one hand and selling out the country with the other.

This is exactly what stockades and gallows were for.

I’d like to drop them off at Aberdeen Proving Grounds to participate in some live-fire testing.

No one has the guts to charge him, so he will get away with it. But here we have a case where an example can be made, and sometimes we need examples.

We need examples alright.

It used to be "crime doesn't pay".

Unfortunately it is now ... "crime pays ... and it pays extremely well".

I agree with big; while there might not be enough room, it will certainly get the attention of the rest of the teat suckers and traitors who are lap dancing each other!

Be Ever Vigilant!!

20 years? Try the bitch for treason, convict her, and then shove her up against a wall and shoot her to death.

I have always felt that it should be a mandantory for manufactures of equipment like this, especially fighter aircraft, to have the ability to flip a switch and the item becomes usless. Not that hard.

I am sympathetic to your proposal, but if the law only says 20 years, that is all we can do. But give her the full 20 years and make sure she serves every day of that 20 years.
