While I agree with you about throwing in the towel and wringing of hands, we have one HUGE problem.

We have NOBODY in the GOP who is willing to stand up to Obama or the Dems. They know the GOP will punish him/her for doing so. The GOP has turned into DemLite and are perfectly happy with the role.

We have no Reagan waiting in the wings to fix the mess Obama is making of our country. Considering this presidency is already much worse than Carter’s, I don’t even think Reagan could have done it.

What plans does the GOP have to stop this madness and control the bleeding? What plans do the GOP have to repeal the vast majority of the Socialist Bailout Bill of 2009? What will the GOP do to protect our troops, our rights, our wallets, our way of life?

I sit home beyond pissed off at what is happening to my once great country but know there is little I can do about it. My own party has turned into a group of spineless wimps who pee themselves if Pelosi screams Boo!!!

For those that will point to third parties, give me a break.

There isn’t a single third party that has the support or ability to elect a dogcatcher. In fact, if conservative third party voters had put country first and voted for McCain we’d have that RINO in the White House instead of the most dangerous man who’s ever been elected. Who on here doubts that McCain would not be a better leader than Obama?

And please do NOT give me the 20/20 hindsight crap; anyone with 1/2 a brain knew about Obama’s radical ties, how he is a master at Chicago style politics. His own words and campaign promises should have dammed him to anyone making the claim they are for conservative or even middle of the road policies.

While I’m glad to see the House GOP stand together against the stimulus bill, I still don’t trust them. The usual suspect Senate RINO’s voted for the bailout. When I see the GOP take action against those three, my support will increase a bit more.

I have no doubts if Reid/Pelosi needed GOP members to cross over for the stimulus to pass, more then 3 would have. That is why so many Republicans have thrown in the towel. We can not trust the GOP to live up to their own stated goals and principles.

./Rant Off

Great Moments in American Military Command Decision History (with an Obama twist):

General Lafayette: "Mon General Obama, the British are moving troops to Yorktown. You must consider abandoning your plans to attack New York and mass forces at Yorktown for victory..."

General Obama: "Er...Uhmm...PRESENT!"

General W.T. Sherman: "General Obama, we have completely surrounded the Confederate Army of the Mississippi at Vicksburg and have effectively cut the Confederacy in half. What are your orders?"

General Obama: "Er...Uhm...let's talk to them without pre-conditions"

General Marshall: "Mr. President, I regret to inform you that the Japanese conducted a surprise attack on our naval forces at Pearl Harbor this morning".

President Obama: "Er, Uhm... I thought we were downsizing our Navy anyway to spend the money on social welfare programs...looks like the Japanese just did us a huge favor. Let's stop this U.S.imperialism and retreat from Hawaii and the Phillipines before more innocent Japanese are impacted by our failed policies of the past."

Staff Meteorologist Group Captain James Stagg: "General Obama, it appears that we will have a short window of opportunity on 6 June to conduct the Normandy beach landings..."

Supreme Allied Commander General Obama: Er, I...uhm...er...uhm...PRESENT!

General of the Army Air Force, Hap Arnold: "Mr. President, the 509th Composite Group has landed at Tinian and are preparing for their nuclear bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We'll save as many as 1 million American lives by ending this war and avoiding costly amphibous landings on mainland Japan".

President "the buck stops here" Obama: "Uhhhh...er....we need to share this technology to promote world peace and understanding. I'll form a multi-national commission of our adversaries to study this and provide me recommendations on how to spread the wealth of this new energy source. By the way, have we abandoned Hawaii and the Phillipines yet?"

Sarah Palin: “He (Obama) refuses to use the word victory except when referring to his own campaign.”

“When we are so close to victory in Iraq, he wants to wave the white flag of surrender.”

“During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” George Orwell

“For someone who claims to be a huge fan of Lincoln he seems to manage military affairs more like George McClellan.”

McClellan had more balls...and he was sometimes known as “Old Yeller”
