Put a fork in another libtalk radio network, it’s done

The “On the Air” sign has been turned off for the last time at floundering libtalk network Nova M Radio.

Nova M’s employees remain unpaid for the past two weeks and the company will reportedly seek bankruptcy protection next week. Lunatic talkers Randi Rhodes and Mike Malloy had been the network’s two “big” stars. We use the term “big” advisedly, because Malloy’s program was carried by only eleven radio stations.

What we need is a “fairness doctrine”. Maybe someone can explain to me, if there is no market for liberal views how did President Obama win? (maybe this is Rhetorical)

Just another reason why we have to have government control of the air waves. The market fails to reward these leftist morons for spewing forth garbage. If we had fairness, then everybody would get a chance to be heard whether we like it or not.

Left wing radio will never work because the liberals don’t listen to anyone at all, not even each other.

There are many reasons leftist radio fails. The lefties own the TV airwaves and the movies, the radio format is useless because it isn’t needed. If the networks and the movies were all conservative leaning, lefty talk radio would probably do better.

It’s only a matter of time before the same government that wants to force stations to air thes failed programs, will force us listeners to listen to a set number of hours of this tripe!

Supply and demand.
Since anyone can get a dose of extreme liberalism wacko nut jobs on TV all day any day and certainly in most major national newspapers why would there be any need for it on the radio? Too large a supply equals very little demand.

Obama won the time honored socialist way. He lied, voter fraud and a willing accomplice in the MSM

And this is why they want the fairness doctrine. Libs cant do right on their own and make a profit, so they have to ride the coat tails of conservatives.

Obama voters were too busy watching American Idol and other crap TV shows to listen to talk radio.

When Obama voters listen to the radio , they listen to top 40 and rap music.

Left wing, liberal ideas can only survive in single direction dialog like network TV, a university class room, a newspaper. When the dialog is in both directions Conservative ideas seem to win in the market place.

This is why talk radio has to be killed if you are a liberal. They need the cover of the MSM for their lies.

The power of Conservatism is shown in its ability to survive (not by a lot) the onslaught of MSM and public schools and universities.

If the tables were reversed, simply using the lessons shown in history would be enough to kill liberalism. It takes propaganda to keep it alive and yes the MSM is the house organ for that propaganda.

Well, don’t forget the RAT mindset. To them, if consumers only got a CHANCE to hear Liberal talk radio, it would be a wild success because it is, after all, wonderful, intelligent, funny and - above all, the correct way to think.

No part of their over-inflated egos will accept the fact that RAT RADIO is a failure because no one listens to it. The fault, to them, is entirely OURS for failing to appreciate the golden gift of liberalism when it’s placed in our laps.

Mike Malloy is a textbook example of an impotent liberal. He’s furious and angry, but he doesn’t have the balls to do any of the things he advocates. He can talk a good game, but this is the kind of guy who, when you ask him if he wants to step outside, turns you down because he’s wearing a new suit he doesn’t want to get dirty.

The Dems like to put forth their non-argument for the Fairness Doctrine by saying “the airways are owned by the people”-well, yes, and this is an example of the people exercising their right of ownership.

I’ve wondered about this sometimes. In a diverse country with many social/political views, there are millions of liberal/progressive/radical type people with those views. Yet they don’t want to listen to discussions about these views. HMMMMM...........

Maybe they have short attention spans, or, perhaps, they just can’t have reasoned debate/discussion about the issues? So then, programs urging liberal views don’t get their audience?
