CALL HERR KENNETH DUNCAN'S OFFICE AND TELL HIM NOT TO EVEN TRY AND PASS BILL HB-0867. THIS STATES ALL GUN OWNING RESIDENTS OF ILLINOIS MUST HAVE 2 MILLION DOLLARS INSURANCE IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT!
THEY REALLY THINK YOU ARE THAT @#$!%^&* STUPID PEOPLE!
HIS # 217-782-4535
Dude. Your caps lock is on. Just a little FYI. And we covered this topic yesterday and the day before too.
Seems like a pay-off to the insurance industry.
Apparently not enough people called cause they are still going through with it.
yeah but it’s fun to call them and tell them you’re not that stupid.
‘THEY REALLY THINK YOU ARE THAT @#$!%^&* STUPID PEOPLE! ‘
Given they keep getting re-elected, ‘they’ have a valid point about the intelligence level.
Like this urban socialist, whose district is probably 80% hard left, is going to listen?
you’re right.....why should we try?
Let’s see, we’ll also have to pay an insurance premium for each knife in our kitchen...
...and a premium for each pair of scissors in the house (safety scissors get a 30% discount)...
...there will be a 60% “Public Hazard Fee” upon purchase of baseball bats, crowbars, hammers, etc...
Oh! And if your car weighs in excess of 3500 lbs, you’ll have to pay an insurance premium on its increased killing power...
Glen Beck said there are virtually no companies willing to issue the kind of insurance described in this bill. Those that would issue insurance would possibly be beyond the reach of most everybody.
After some of us Insuance Freeperes tossed it around, we figured a 1.0 mil personal liability policy could be added onto a homeowners policy for about $100/month. Another Freeper said he already had a 5.0 mil umbrella personal liability stand alone policy for $250/year.
So, cost wise, it’s not nearly as expensive as you might think it is. Plenty of Freepers spend more than $100 a month in ammo.
The point is of course it is a finacial infringement upon your 2nd amendment right. Small ot large it doesn’t matter. It is an infringement.
Clarification; calling the bill's sponsors would be like calling DiFi and Co about the AWB. In 2004 the NRA said not to waste time on them and call other legislators instead.
Kinda think this has no chance, but it would be chilling if it were to pass. It would effect every legal gun owner, dem and repub alike. This is the outcome with dem majorities.
Caps just fine with me and the more the better.
This crap can’t be shouted enough.
The people here that worry about a story being here more then once should just get over it and go on their way. Others just tuning in might have missed it.
Their schemes are usually a pay-off to someone.
Ya, I heard the backers of this bill all took out $2M life insurance policies........
Seems like a pay-off to the insurance industry.”
There is not an insurance company in the country that will issue such a policy.
EVERY burglar will sue the insurance company after DELIBERATELY attacking a home where he knows a gun is inside. A free money pass for life in the mind of these criminals.
NObama is worse than any of us thought.
Supremes: Get him out of there!! He was NOT born in the USA...

For those of us on Social Security, that ‘only about $100 a month’ is over the top for us.
