People have to ask why does Obama need an office of Urban Affairs?
Federal, state and local governmental bankruptcy, unemployment and foreclosure are rampant and getting worse. He is buying some time by borrowing every penny for unemployment payments, massive federal health care and a bailout for people HE KNEW would not be able to make their house payments when he was on the senatorial banking committee pushing banks into making bad loans. He is buying loyalty and votes from the poor and the stupid.
Meanwhile he is consolidating power.
The “stimulus bill”? A huge federal govt hiring program for urban areas. Just check any job search engine in an urban area — he is hiring his civilian militia who are going to come and take away your house cuz they wannit.

Why do you think several state governors DO NOT WANT THE BAILOUT MONEY???? They have to give up too much state control in order to get it. Only a handful of governors get it - scary. Legalization of illegals is next - 20 million more loyal voters.

I only hope & pray that if or when we ever get our Republic wrested away from the socialist-fascist-communists, that we will have someone with balls & courage to DISMANTLE ENTIRELY the socialist-welfare-nanny state that has grown under every president (most of all GWB until the ascension of Obooombi). It seems that socialism & big govt is never dramatically cut & reduced by a HUGE amount. It only gets slowed down at best.

We have got to find a candidates or set of candidates who will cut, slash & burn the socialist welfare nanny state by 80% (or more) across the entire spectrum.
