The only things the Clintons love is money and power. Pets, even their own child are just accessories.

“Buddy!!! Is that you?!?”
“Hey Socks, whuzzup?”
“I just realized something!”
“What’s that Socks?”
“We were just props!”
“No duh. You cats ARE dumb.”

Please skip the Ron-Brown-funeral fake tears, Billy Jeff. You and your hideous wife only had pets as props for your photo ops.

in other news...
Clinton’s cat has kicked the bucket....
WTF is wrong with the press?
To: Zakeet
I lost my cat this month. Expired in the closet. All that I have left are her ashes, returned to me in a tin can. My new cat is a source of joy but you can never forget a pet that's been part of your life for a long time. Its a commitment and I don't think I will ever be without animals around. They make life worth living.

No duh. You cats ARE dumb.
Socks was smart enough to engineer a way out of the Clinton household, and was able to live a full life.
Buddy's way of escape was more desperate.

“is wrong with the press?”
That was my first thought. While the loss of a pet is sad, it is hardly newsworthy. I think it is an attempt to make our leaders look more “human”, meanwhile millions of real people are wondering about their jobs, mortgage, health care, etc. These same “leaders” are the ones creating this misery, but that will never be reported.

This cat was euthanized - only real news is that it wasn’t done in Rock Creek Park.

Currie, the president's personal secretary, and her husband, Bob, took over care of Socks after the Clintons left the White House. Was this cat just a prop?

It doesn’t appear anyone can quite get Socks age right. Was he 17 or 20?
Also, I know cats get cancer; but I have never heard of one with throat cancer.

Just where was WJC leaving his discarded cigars?
Socks is about the only one in that family I could stomach.

RIP, Socks! You were the most ethical creature in the Clinton administration.
Initially, he thought Bill liked him, because he thought he heard someone saying that Bill was “addicted to Socks.” Later, he realized he had misunderstood...
