Alan Keyes Stokes Obama Birth Certificate Controversy

Alan Keyes stokes Obama birth certificate controversy

The controversy over the validity of Barack Obama's birth certificate is back on a burner with firebrand conservative Alan Keyes making serious new charges.

In a video (see below) released Friday

Keyes, who lost to Obama in the 2004 U.S. Senate race in Illinois that launched the new president's national political career, calls Obama a communist and usurper and says he refuses to acknowledge the validity of Obama's inauguration over lingering questions in the minds of many conspiracists about the 44th president's birth place.

The U.S. Constitution requires any president be born an American citizen.

In June, the Obama campaign released to The Ticket a copy of the then-senator's Hawaiian birth certificate (see the jump below and also here). But stubbornly persistent critics demand to see the original, which the state has refused to provide, citing personal privacy reasons.

And the critics, including Keyes explaining here, cite Obama relatives in Kenya as saying he was actually born there in his father's native land when his American mother was too young to pass on her U.S. citizenship.

In December, as The Ticket reported here, the Supreme Court dismissed without comment a New Jersey lawsuit seeking to bar Obama's inauguration due to questions over his actual citizenship. The Obama camp has proceeded normally as if there was no controversy.

Obviously, the inauguration proceeded, although on the advice of White House counsel as a precaution against a verbal muff during the noontime Jan. 20 public ceremony, Obama did take the presidential oath again that night in private with Chief Justice John Roberts.

His White House lawyer feared igniting another simmering legal controversy if there was any doubt about the oath's validity, although the Constitution stipulates the new president takes office at noon no matter what.

Great to see at least one REAL conservative has the guts to stand up to the Kenyan-born Islamo-Afro Marxist. Allan Keyes is a true patriot.

lingering questions in the minds of many conspiracists

Hey, stupid editors, we just want to see his birth certificate and his basic records? We know absolutely ZERO about ZERO, except what he has told us, and he's a proven liar. So, let's see the records, OK?

Is that too much to ask of a man who wants to be Emperor, er, I mean President?

But stubbornly persistent critics demand to see the original, which the state has refused to provide, citing personal privacy reasons.

Obama can make this all go away by authorizing its release. What possible reason would there be not for not releasing a copy of the original?

The original must have some embarrassing information on it, maybe the fact that "Barack" was not the name given to him at birth or maybe that his parent's bigamous marriage was not recognized by the State of Hawaii or maybe that he was given his mother's surname of Dunham.

Only Barack Obama and the State of Hawaii know for sure.

Whatever the embarrassing information is, Obama has decided that it is more embarrassing than continued questions about his eligibility for office.

I didn't know wee were allowed to call the usurper what he is. I thought anything less flattering than "Dear Leader" or "Community-Organizer-for-Life" would result in mandatory re-education.

I saw olberman talking about this. He and his CNN guy said that everyone that believed it were crazy, but they were talking about it. Funny how they never bring up the facts. For example, O spending a substantial amount of money to keep it hidden or that you had to be an Indonesian citizen to be in school there and all the other questions that are keeping this going. But, hey, we are all just crazy right?

LOL........... Well if you going to give him credit for this administration you might as well give him credit for a couple of Senators from Maryland [or where ever it was] and two other failed presidential bids.

But in all honesty I think that is way over rating his abilities. JMO.

“...minds of many conspiracists...” How about in the minds of people capable of putting two and two together. Some people can spot a con job when they see one. The media should have brought this matter to the light of day, not participate in the con game for fear of being called racists. In a few more months, a majority of citizens are going to rue the day they bought into the 0 scam, and some of them will start to see how they’ve been cheated by the media.

I keep seeing people posting this, but I've never read anything by him that gives me the impression he's a "fringe lunatic." Granted, I haven't read a lot by him, period, other than what's posted here from time to time.

But what exactly are the things that lead to this reputation? He's always sounded pretty sensible to me.

I agree 100%. Even literally to the point of a watergate style break in. or bribing a worker there. A very small price to pay to lay hands on the truth that would unseat him.

But in truth, they aren’t so foolish as to just leave a paper laying in Harvard or Columbias archives, that would prove we are correct and dethrone him. Getting into their records, would turn out to be like Geraldo and Al Capones empty vault. A big letdown.

I think the BC people are 100 % correct that he is hiding something, but it’ll never be known now IMO. The evidence is destroyed.

That was so good that I had to say it again!

Exactly, thank you.

The conspiracy has been the conspiracy of silence on this
issue by nearly all media.

The proof that obama has something to hide, is that
he has been trying to hide something.

He’s a lunatic because he tells it exactly as it is. Orwell said that in times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

He’s fighting a last stand against nearly impossible odds. His only possible lunacy is to dream he will ever prevail.

The only way Obama’s birth certificate will see the light of day is if he becomes a liability to socialist movement and he needs to be removed. If he continues to crash the economy and it causes a massive GOP win in both houses, look for his birth certificate to be leaked forcing him to step down.

In no circumstance would anything Keith O criticized me about be of interest to me.

He blows with the wind like an old-fashioned weather vane on the top of the barn.

Figuring out which way old Keith himself blows with his choice of partners is a whole other topic.

Keith can yell at me all day long about NObama and the birth certificate.

The fact that hundreds of thousands of $$$$ have been spent by NObama trying to keep it hidden is enough for me.

Not only passion, but he crushes anyone in a debate with deliberate thought and an intense knowledge of what he is talking about.

I don't know if you recall the treatment that he got from the established Republicans during the 2000 (I think it was) debates, invited then uninvited.

The difference between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party is there is no spine or conviction of their beliefs with Republicans.
