How do you know if the charges are true or if they're just trumped up by your superiors?

I guess I will have to rely on my education (USNA ‘94, flight school, etc.) and my intelligence (see education). Anyway, the military is being dumbed down right now. Trying to put as many unqualified people and immigrants in the ranks as we can to glorify “diversity”. I doubt they will need me to bring the prolies in line.

"An armed conflict so American citizens can retain their rights is exactly what they both expect. "

Did you hear it said on the show that there are some who think the dire conclusions of that program were too optimistic?

You probably want to keep the show on tape but you can see all three scenarios at this link.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=glen+beck+02-20-09&aq=f

The part (in #3) from 3:10 to 4:10 will absolutely boil your blood, but it is also absolutely correct. The Feds and ATF will arrest American Citizens for defending their rights and property for no other reason than they are easy to arrest and they are "not in compliance" with a POLICY of the then current administration.

The 2014 date is the middle of a second term Øbama administration. If Øbama makes a second term, what might one think his "policies" will be towards American Citizens defending themselves from "Citizens of the World" pouring over our borders?

Yea, I caught that too. "Lite" scenarios was what Glen reported he was told about the predictions.

I think Waco pretty much proved how the military would react in such situations.

I have 13 years active and 20 plus reserves, and I still don't know how this scenario would play out. But I do know that I met more than a few that would obey such orders to further their career.

The rest will follow if it's not their decision.

Consider also the Twenty-Nine Palms study of the Marines.

Beck called the economic collapse years ago.

Soros Sees No Bottom For World Financial "Collapse"

Sat Feb 21, 2009 4:19pm EST

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Renowned investor George Soros said on Friday the world financial system has effectively disintegrated, adding that there is yet no prospect of a near-term resolution to the crisis.

Soros said the turbulence is actually more severe than during the Great Depression, comparing the current situation to the demise of the Soviet Union.

He said the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers in September marked a turning point in the functioning of the market system.

"We witnessed the collapse of the financial system," Soros said at a Columbia University dinner. "It was placed on life support, and it's still on life support. There's no sign that we are anywhere near a bottom."

I think 2014 is a generously delayed prediction.

IMHO it appears to be unraveling quicker than that.

Have said it before...
The bad news with all of these bailouts is that they will serve to make the collapse more severe and more difficult to recover form.
The good news with all of these bailouts is that they delay the collapse, giving us time to see what is coming and buy us time to prepare our families.

I pray that we have time to prepare the pantry and a garden.

A few random thoughts I've had and have heard from others...
One one hand...it makes sense to prepare
On the other hand...to those who are oblivious to potential future collapse, we look like Y2K kooks.

On one hand...I want to warn more people to prepare.
On the other hand...I don't want to disclose too many preparation details for fear that 40 friends will show up at my house for food if the collapse comes. Yet would be in a moral life-boat conundrum (quagmire alert!) should that happen.

On one hand...silver and gold makes so much sense to survive with some assets.
On the other hand...it seems like a such a “survivalist” notion.

On one hand...I wan to discuss this with friends as I read articles DAILY that seem to substantiate serious concerns for the collapse of our nation.
On the other hand...only a very few (handful) of friends/family think it will get bad. They have the “everything will work out as it always has” mentality. On top of that, those who are in financial difficulty (laid off, mounting bills, high debt, upside down in their homes) complain that I am “talking down the economy and part of the consumer confidence problem” (lol)...or, worse yet, dismiss me as a paranoid conspiracy monger. This is VERY frustrating and severely limits the ability to have a meaningful and sober discussion.

Yes. I do have 8 hands!

Buy numismatic coins, not bullion, if you’re worried about confiscation. The government didn’t confiscate numismatic coins the last time around.

I did a yahoo search for it, but couldn’t find anything. What is/was the Twenty-Nine Palms study?

Thanks for the link. I remember the Katrina confiscations and think about them whenever I hear or read someone say that it can’t happen here. It can. With so many disturbing similarities between then and now, I am starting to somewhat reluctantly understand how Nazi Germany could have happened.

I don’t find the New American article, but basically research was done by an officer for his master’s on the extent to which Marines would be willing to open fire on Americans.
