(IsraelNN.com) Terrorists attacked outside an historic mosque in Cairo Sunday evening, killing at least four people and wounding approximately 17 others, including French and German tourists. Police have not identified the explosive device, but it may have been a hand grenade or homemade device, police said. No terrorist group has yet taken responsibility for the attack.
Sappers neutralized a second explosive device in the crowded bazaar area. The Egyptian tourist minister denied that anyone died in the blast, but major foreign news services reported that a French woman was among those killed.
Eleven French and three German tourists suffered injuries, and bloodstains marred stone and marble fragments blasted away in the explosion.
The attack took place outside the Hussein mosque, in the same district where terrorists struck in 2005, killing two tourists and wounding 18 others.
The Egyptian government has been on high alert against attacks as opposition grows within the country, particularly from the Muslim Brotherhood, the largest opposition party in the parliament.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has come under frequent attack for not being more active against Israel's recent Cast Lead counterterrorist war on terror in Gaza.

At first glance of the article I understood that the bombing took place in DC. It was the name Hussein that threw me off.
