Police in Baltimore today made what is believed to be the first arrest in a civil disobedience program aimed at supporting homeowners who refuse to vacate their foreclosed homes.
An activist with ACORN the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now faces criminal charges after breaking into a home in southeast Baltimore on Thursday to protest the foreclosure crisis sweeping the country.

Whatever happened to “looters will be shot”?
You beat me by seconds dude!
ACCORN - I think we will be seeing allot of them over the next 4 to 8 years.....
.....the way I post ,it wasn’t easy
Executive Amnesty coming.
give it a month
hehe :p
It is worse, the finance committee democrats KNEW they could not pass a federal funding of “house freebie give aways” so they force the banks to loan and then force fannie nad freddie to buy the notes on those freebie homes.
Essentially a backdoor funding by barney frank (sarcasm off)
I’m sure, theres a parade in their futre
ACORN caused the mess and they are being reward with a couple of billion to continue to do their dirty work.
Acorn’s Red Tshirts will replace the BROWN SHIRTS of days gone by!
we’ll see,but than again localities need the fine $#$$$
I hope they keep overplaying their hand.
Umm - I think the math is a little off here. What about the Taxpayer? Oh, I forgot, to these Socialists/Communists that money is free.
It’s Baltimore, the police will be gentle. ACORN members should be arrested with Baseball bats.
So, it’s begun. There will be more. It will become violent at some point soon.
Its been going on since 1977 and the CRA that Jimmah Carter and a Democrat congress passed. Thats the foundation of this whole mess.
Something like this group will lead us into the coming Social War. Eventually a group like this will cross a line.
Yep. 0bama’s supporters are getting wake-up calls every day.
as promised
At least the red T-shirts make a good noncamouflaged target.
I know. Pisses me off to no end. Right there I think its evidence that the US Government is a Traitor in and of itself to the United States. If such a think can be...
**red T-shirts make a good noncamouflaged target.**
Thank you ... I did think of that.. Immediately AFTER I hit POST.
The people are merely commom criminals and should be treated as such.
“Something like this group will lead us into the coming Social War. Eventually a group like this will cross a line.”
Eventually? The fact is that many groups already have and the US Population continues to stand idly by watching American Idol.
Document drop: The truth about ACORNs foreclosure poster child

Most people will sit on the fence and try and stay out of the way.
While things aren’t as bad (yet) as the 1929 Depression, the parallels are uncanny. I’m reading Stud Terkel’s book, “Hard Times” and just encountered a section where he’s interviewing ex-Communists who tell of “organizing the people”, invading foreclosed houses and putting the dispossessed people back into their homes.
Read the book and see current-day people/politicians revisit the same mistakes because they refuse to learn from history.
Great link, thanks.
I fear that you are correct. That is why I had to challenge or attempt to point out the futility of your thinking that some group would “eventually” go to far. I believe that the American people are truly lazy and completely dumbed down.
Just the way Marxists like them.
A mere sideshow. Hussein will give ACORN payback and in turn they will provide his candidates in the 2010 elections with more voter fraud.
Start the goosesteppin’ practice in your front yard, Hussein will require it all soon.

"Book 'em, Dano."
“This is our house now,” ACORN member Louis Beverly reportedly said after cutting a lock with bolt cutters at the home.

In actual revolutions the numbers involved are really rather small when measured against the total population. During the French Revolution of 1790’s the total population was about 35,000,000 and the total involved in the revolution was about 225,000(See Carlyle). In the Russian Revolution of 1918 about 250,000 out of 100,000,000 were involved. In our revolution the numbers actually fighting was rather small compared to the 4 to 4.5 million total population, if I remember correctly about 150,000.
It will be difficult to get a conviction in a Baltimore city court.
American Idle***
Fixed
We have over 300,000,000 privately owned firearms in this country. Granted, many of them are 2 and more to one person.
But we’re very, very many armed Americans. The Persian army would have nothing on America.

ACORN benefactor/organizer/ trainer Barack H. Obama, Esq., contributed to the hostile environment for banks when he represented ACORN in the 1995 class action lawsuit against Citibank ........demanding the bank grant mortgages to an equal percentage of minority and non-minority mortgage applicants.
We're finding out now that some of these "homeowners" were illegals who were never asked for proofs---pay stubs, SS numbers, etc. As long as the applicants had a pulse and could write their names, they got the loan. Food stamps were considered a gauge of income.
Many of these loans were flipped back and forth among illegal immigrant families for higher and higher profits, duping the banks at every turn. When they did enough damage, the last "homeowner" defaulted and departed for Mexico with thousands in cash.....leaving the bank (and taxpayers) holding the bag.
=========================================
Carter-era Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), which opened banking to ACORN-style agitation that over time weakened underwriting criteria and helped to alter the culture of financial institutions in the U.S. This 1977 law, whose enactment ACORN lobbied for, punishes lenders for limiting loans to wealthier, more creditworthy markets, a practice called "redlining." It gives banking regulators discretionary authority to make trouble for banks that fail to lend enough money to "underserved" minority communities.
ACORN refuses to acknowledge its role in the current crisis.... Michael Ettlinger of John Podesta's Center for American Progress feverishly derides CRA critics as "antigovernment ideologues," while Business Week's Aaron Pressman calls them "know-nothings."
Not to be outdone, ACORN ally House Financial Services Committee chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass) says criticism of CRA law is tantamount to attacking poor people and minorities.
......even as the economic fallout spreads, getting these class-warriors to admit they're wrong about anything is an exercise in futility. Liberals reflexively defend ACORN----twisting themselves into rhetorical pretzels defending the catastrophic economic egalitarianism of the CRA.
Arrest warrants on these pukes should be served at high velocity. If the blowdart speed is too slow, then we may have to increase...

BTT!
Bump!
Organized, and federally funded thuggery.
An activist with ACORN -- the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now -- faces criminal charges after breaking into a home in southeast Baltimore on Thursday to protest the foreclosure crisis sweeping the country.Yeah, I'm sure he was just "protesting". When I knock over a bank, I'll be protesting the bailout, and this message will prove my innocence.
