A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.
The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama's birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.

We need about 10,000 more active duty to back up this brave soldier. It is not treason when you know he is not eligible. O has refused to prove his eligibility.

LOL,
Though it will go no where because of all the hurdels that will be thrown in the way, it is amusing.

Taitz told WND she had advised Easterling to obtain legal counsel before making any statements regarding the commander-in-chief, but he insisted on moving forward. He probably should listen to her.

Hope he is regular because if he is reserve commission he is history. Regular or reserve, if he refuses to obey an order from his superiors then he's toast.

"Until Mr. Obama releases a 'vault copy' of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office an impostor," his statement said.
I think we'll be hearing more about this.

Doesn’t he have standing? He must put his life on the line for the CIC. If he doesn’t have it then we’re hosed.

I think he is more concerned about the country than his commission. We get a few more thousand like him then you will get even more. Something like this can snowball very fast. If the govt retaliates against him - you will get thousands more.

As I’ve said many times before, all he has to do is produce that vault copy. That will put all of this to rest one way or another. The people have the RIGHT to know whether their president is a legitimate one.

Send the case up to SCOTUS with a few thousand other members of the military. Let SCOTUS tell them they do not have standing or they do not have harm.

Lt Easterling has a point. We ALL have never seen the birth certificate. This is akin to attending a Physics class and the professor has no credentials whatsoever that entitles him to teach the class in the first place.

"My conviction is such that I am compelled to join Dr. Orly Taitz's lawsuit, as a plaintiff, against Mr. Obama. As a citizen, it pains me to do this, but as an officer, my sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution requires this action," he said.

Why should soldiers serve a fraud who repeatedly refuses to prove proof of his eligibility. A fraud who has multiple legal teams doing everything in their power plus the liberal press to make this go away.
We need to make sure EVERY member of the military knows about this. If you know any military or ex-military web site - post a link to the story.

Oh I don't doubt he's a commissioned officer in the Army or Army reserves. I just don't think this is going to go anywhere. The Army takes dim views of officers or enlisted who think they can decide what orders to obey and what not.

I was speaking with a Homeland Security employee last night...same sentiment. Many insiders are aware of BHO’s eligibility questions.

True. And when one court does agree, does that change the reality of standing? No, it means that a court agreed.
Courts do all kinds of extraconstitutional and anticonstitutional things all the time. Or hadn’t you noticed?
