During the Hardball pre-game, Matthews declared this to guests Pat Buchanan and Larry ODonnell:
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Heres the key line, I think, though there will be others. The day of reckoning has arrived, this is Senator, this is President Obama. The day of reckoning has arrived. The time to take charge of our future is here. This is Churchillian.

Interesting that Chrissy made that comment to Buchanan seeing as how Buchanan wrote a book blaming Churchill and Hitler equally for WWII.

Why not just compare the yet delivered speech to the Sermon on the Mount?
According to the prevailing media opinion, Churchill is lower than crap compared to Obama- unfit to shine the current POTUS’s shoes.

I was trying to come up with something higher than Churchill. I agree some type of devine comparison seems to fit the bill.

In a “reckoning” there are those who are called “to account”. That’s chilling.
