If they pass this, my money will not go to a TV service provider, satellite or cable

CENSORSHIP WON’T COME IN THE FORM OF THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE.

All the Messaih has to do is stack the FCC with people who will carry out his bidding. The FCC can renew broadcasting licenses or it can deny their renewal... and that will be the end of talk radio.

Obamanazi is already moving in this direction.

Every broadcast license renewal has a public hearing.

If every license renewal hearing is attended by 200 ACORN activists, Obama will get his way- no station critical of him will get re-licensed.

Typically there are 6 people present at these things other than FCC and station reps, but that I think will change.

Here’s one of the Localism reports from 2008.

I looked up some stuff and found that public hearings for renewals are not common. Public comment periods are more common but not universal.

A while back (pre election?) Rush mentioned that he was meeting with people to help formulate a ‘new message’ and a ‘new vehicle’ to get that message out. I’m wondering if this may be part of that.

I think buyer’s remorse is already starting to seep in with regard to Obambi. This will worsen as time goes on and the economy gets even worse which I predict it will. Joblessness will continue to rise. The dollar will be worthless. The stock market will continue to tumble. There will be a distinct anti business atmosphere exuding through the Obambi administration policies which will move businesses overseas or into bankruptcy. The other alternative is for businesses to outsource even more to foreign countries thus making job losses that much worse. All of these things will deteriorate Obambi’s approval ratings over time. There is even now a ten percent deterioration in Obambi’s approval ratings. And when you take into account the disastrous foreign policy that Obambi will implement, they will make matters even worse. China will refuse to keep bailing us out because it is costing their own country a lot of problems.

What about localism?

Fairness doctrine = Red Herring. Localism is the real threat.

True. "Localism" would make the central cities the dictators over what we can hear in the suburbs. And make brownshirts dictators over the central cities.

Benjamin Franklin described the government under the Constitution as, "A republic - if you can keep it." "Localism" under Alinsky tactics is nothing but the degeneration of a republic into a democracy into a dictatorship.
