Wistful and Self-Absorbed, Obama Needs to be Interrupted by Pelosi
Canada Free Press ^ | 02/25/2009 | Yomin Postelnik

Posted on 02/25/2009 12:45:35 PM PST by Yomin Postelnik

It’s a sad day when the most regal person on stage at the State of the Union is Nancy Pelosi, but that’s exactly what happened last night. And despite the media accolades, the fact that Barack Hussein Obama’s first entrance into the US House of Representatives had all the pomp and circumstance of Hugo Chavez at the racetrack was as clear as day.

Most of it was Obama’s own fault. Yes, whoever decided to divide up the announcement by the Sergeant-at-Arms of his arrival to the House with a split introduction that contained ten seconds of pause in between did no favor to the Office of the Presidency. But far more pitiful was the fact that a dreamy, wistful and arrogant Obama with his head held up in the air and his eyes seemingly gazing at the stars was so self involved that he forgot to allow the Speaker of the House to introduce him.

While I’m worried about Obama as President, and I don’t agree with any policy I’ve heard him suggest, this is rather petty in the scheme of things.

I’m more concerned about his flat out lying about ‘no earmarks’ than this, by a level of magnitude, for example.

JMHO.

The main thing we on the ground should also notice is that there’s only one GOP candidate for federal office and no current Reps or Senators raising holy hey about the stimulus - killing health bill. The candidate who is, Florida’s former Chief Medical Officer Marion Thorpe, now running for US Senate - and a big thank you to him for that.

it was not a “State of the Union” address, although the one, the all-knowing Usurper clearly staged it as such.

The first two paragraphs creeped me out so badly I did not follow the link to read the entire article. Ew. Just double EW!!!

Someone posted a picture on an FR thread of osama obama with his chin way up, his eyes unfocused and glazed and it just really creeped me out - big time! I truly believe this man is seriously pathologically narcissistic.

A president’s first SOTU has never been called such, but always treated the same (and listed as such in archives, etc.) since 1977. Maybe that tradition will end with the new and even less improved Jimmah Cawter.

Credit him with one thing, virtually all of us are totally unprepared for an entrance before the full Congress.

Not that I'd even want to appear before a room full of Leftwingtard Democrats anyway ~ but it has to be a tad disconcerting.

Was Pelosi there? I didn't watch. We were tuned into this thing about Volcanos in Indinesia, and then we watched a couple of Youtube.com videos about home surgical techniques.

If I call him a buffoon, will I be accused of comparing him to the ape whose name is similar to buffooon but is, in fact, different from buffoon? Will I then be called a racist for calling him a buffoon?

If so, I will refrain from calling him a buffoon, even though I am pretty sure he is a buffoon, and I definitely think he is a buffoon.

Did I mention that I think he is a buffoon.

Thank you.

PS - Do you think I worked the word buffoon into my post enough times?

Buffoon Hussain Obama - kind of has a ring to it

Then again, Buffoon Hussain Obama in the Whitehouse doesn’t sound too reassuring. But what do we know? After all, the stock market seems to like him. That’s why it’s.... Oh, I guess they don’t. Who exactly does think this guy is any good for anything?

Or from the column:

The media may not want to cover any of this, but to the American people, a picture is emerging. Namely, that the only thing historic about this administration is that the president has an IQ score under 70, or as Barack Obama might say “the age that children begin to collect Social Security.”

True about it mostly being about media cover up. Main goal is to get those on the fence to wake up and realize that their hero is useless, worthless and just plain dumb.

I do want to stress Marion Thorpe’s championing of opposition to the “healthcare” component in the “stimulus.” What health policy is doing buried in an economic bill is a matter in and of itself. But the legislation is incredulous. If the media ignores it and the former Chief Medical Officer of Florida’s opposition to it, we conservatives should spread the word among ourselves and beyond.

That’s good to hear. These Dems stop at nothing (and then, as usual, portray themselves as compassionate and us as cruel - They probably believe it too. They get everything else backwards).

We put on Orange County Housewives, I couldn't stomach the petty vanity and self importance of the Zero show.

Those OC housewives could give Øbama a valuable lesson in humility.

We, thank goodness, are not overcome by pomp and ceremony - I hope, but of course Canada is...heh. Actually, it would have been better if some argument broke out due to this...would justify the stupidly of the situation...

No such luck though...we carried on just like nothing had happened (and indeed it did not), but our neighbors to the North took umbrage...ha. Guess they still think that they also have a Queen...silly people...
