Energy Resource Larger than Total Reserves of Middle East
WASHINGTON, D.C. Institute for Energy Research (IER) president Thomas J. Pyle issued the following statement today after the Interior Department announced its plans to withdraw from consideration acreage in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming where research and development of a small portion of our nations homegrown oil shale reserves had previously been scheduled to take place:
Earlier this week, Secretary Salazar suggested Americas massive and homegrown reserves of oil shale held great potential. Unfortunately, the Interior Departments decision today may help ensure that potential never becomes reality in the process, locking-away an American energy resource larger than the total reserves of the entire Middle East.
screw the “ real Jobs and real income”.
Zero's Fault
It is the Chicago way of government!
These people need to go.
This is the reason we have to fight the CO2 regulations. Energy policies have a chance to win over many of the middle-roaders. Must fight cap and trade, global warming/change — CO2, NAIS. Conservatives can save some of the economy if we can defeat these measures and they don’t trigger the buttons (racism) that other topics do. This can be done.
