Who cares about dead bodies when there is so much revenue to be gained by parking tickets!

Oh, I was in LA at USC for a sporting event. During the break between prelims and finals, I decided to check out the garment district. I found a metered parking spot and began my trek. About a fifty yards from where I parked there was a man laying on the stoop of the building with his head propped against the door, with his mouth open and flies going in and out of his mouth and all over his bare stomach. I tried to get people to stop and everyone just turned their heads away. So, I started looking for a police officer, but never found one. When I got back to my car, the man was still on the sidewalk and I had a parking ticket.
They know every donut shop around.

I was probably safer in the Bronx at Fordham that I would have been in the Student Ghetto in Gainesville.

Now that is a great story!
About the 4th ticket the smell should have triggered something. It makes you wonder about the neighborhood and the govt workers.
It reminds me of the news story I think in Wales a few years ago when some finally noticed that the tax collector sitting at his desk wasn’t going anywhere. He had been dead for two days.
Now there was someone that really made an impression on his coworkers.
