Pro-Homosexual Booklet to Be Distributed to All 16,000 US School Districts

The 24-page booklet by the National Education Association and American Psychological Association, tells students that homosexuality is a "normal expression of human sexuality".

"What's so scary and dogmatic about this report is that it communicates that religious-based viewpoints are harmful, and even dangerous," said Candi Cushman, education analyst for Focus on the Family Action.

The booklet particularly targets the idea that homosexuality is a condition that can be changed. It instructs educators, "Schools should be careful to avoid discussions of transformational ministry in their curriculum."

Brian Raum, senior legal counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, said that the talk of "inclusivity" in schools by homosexual groups is a veiled threat.

"What they're trying to do is create a fear factor here," he said. "There's nothing in the Constitution that would prohibit a teacher from presenting to a student all of the programs that are available, without endorsing or promoting any particular one."

The National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality, (NARTH) says that although "the aim of gay-affirmative counselling programs is humanitarian", the problem is that they do "much more" than discouraging scapegoating.

"In reality, they promote a particular worldview," present students with a set of "truth-claims that students are expected to adopt," and insist on conformity to these.

"These programs promote the value systems of a particular social group and denigrate the views of another, while at the same time, distorting science."

The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world is a more true statement than he who dies with the most toys wins. They made the latter popular because they realized they needed the former to create their socialist changes.

My kids do attend public schools. I do not make enough money to have the privilege of private education, and I have to work so homeschooling is not an option. That said, I did not allow them to become indoctrinated with the liberal garbage they spew. Both my sons are activists in the sense that they engage and win arguments and debates in the classroom about the very things we speak about on Freerepublic, especially my older son, who has been in honors courses most of his life. There is much more latitude in these classes for discussion on morality, values, and politics.

While my son was one of only 3 in his total classes who supported McCain in the election, he shredded all takers who would try and support Obama, and at the very least pointed out to the class that racism is alive and well when supporting a man of color because of color and not on positions and issues is how you decide to vote. When he got a real pain in the neck, I gave him a line he loved that I learned on here; I voted against his white half LOL. (it is quite a racially mixed school btw)

If you have done your job as a parent, they can survive and even thrive in public school. Mine constantly point out error and contradiction in their lessons and drive their teachers nuts :) . I feel that by them being there, they are getting real world lessons in how people think, and they won’t be shocked when they get into the real world and people are so different than them. It is also just about the only real world experience my older son is going to have with this kind of people on a daily basis, as he enters seminary in 2010.

These daily walks he takes helps him to see the evil he will be fighting, and how these people tick. While its not for everyone, and you must challenge everything that goes on, they are the salt and the light in the public school system, and they do cause some to think.......

How about next screwing the sheep out back is normal? or maybe sleeping with the monkey, having a glass of wine or two with the chimp?

Where the hell does this stop?

Now isn’t that some irony? That is what is so twilight zone like about liberalism. It is so clearly mad that sometimes it is just hard to pinpoint just one thing that defines the madness. Thank you for effectively doing just that.

Do you think we should execute homosexuals?

What do you want to do with them?

homosexuality is a “normal expression of human sexuality”......>>>

Right! So if everyone was homosexual, we could save the planet from humans. There wouldn’t be any more humans. This is just plain bunk!!

Do a little research and you will find out that the APA is composed of loads of homos!! They study psychology to figure out why they are so screwed up.

The booklet particularly targets the idea that homosexuality is a condition that can be changed.

While its core reason for being is to change the heterosexual condition.

Homosexual activism is the sharp tip of Satan's spear -- where it cuts, worse damage follows.

Bill Ayers and friends have taken over the education system. That was there plan and we let them do it. We should have stormed D.C. in protest. I’m afraid it may be too late. I’m glad I’m not a kid who will have to grow up in this crap.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

No amount of protesting would have saved or fixed the government schools. They were an evil idea from the beginning.

The government schools were, are now, and always will be a socialist idea whose goal is to turn the U.S. citizen into a sheeple.

The government schools have been working at this since the mid, late, and early 20th century. It took a few generations to finally wear down tradition sufficiently to produce teachers and administrators who ( being sufficiently indoctrinated themselves) are more than willing to take a paycheck for cooperating and working with evil.

Congratulations with the good work you have done with your kids. From your post they seem older and moving them out of the schools at this point wouldn't make much sense...but..there are many single parents, and two working parent families, that homeschool.

For those working parents who work and would like to homeschool, I would suggest contacting your local homeschooling group. Perhaps they can help a working parent find a way to get their kids out of the govenrment indoctrination camps.

( But...again...You have done a great job with your kids and there would little reason at this point to remove them from the government schools.)

As for salt and light....Your children are the exception. Most of the children whose parents think they would be salt just get trampled in the wayside. Being a missionary is serious adult work. Christ never sent out children to be missionary. He used seasoned men.

They are older now, and I did homeschool for a over a year.I was a stay at home mom for many years. They were in an excellent school for most of their young lives and when things went downhill I started to homeschool. They missed the everyday of the school as I did not start them out as homeschoolers. It is a tough transition to make when they are used to going to school every day. After they went back to school, our a/c business started to falter, and I had to go to work to make ends meet.

While I know seasoned men were used to be missionaries, they preached to men. It seems as though kids hear other kids better, and trust each other more. They are no different than any other kids except I expected them to live their values, and stand up for them. I only wish more parents would stop lowering the bar, as all children are capable of so much more than is asked of them. My favorite thing to remind young people I know, including mine, is God himself felt that at 15 the Virgin Mary was ready to handle being the Mother of the Word Made Flesh, so don’t whine about algebra :)

Your children are doing well and I offer my sincerest congratulations. Given your particular children and your special family, you have obviously made good decisions.

But...Generally ( overall) missionary work to children is still an adult’s job. The surest and most effective way to bring a child into Christ's fold is to bring in his parents. Also, children are immature. They are bombarded continually with a God-less worldview in their government schools. This atheistic proselytizing too often converts the religious child to secularism rather than the other way around.

Another “but”....But, each child and family is different and yours are doing well. Again..Congratulations!

By the way...I bet Mary was homeschooled.

Some laugh yes, even more won't until they get out of sight of the teacher. Still others, who just can't stomach it, drop out. I have known some that did. They finished their education online or through homeschooling, but bailed on the public schools. Makes one wonder how many in the statistics of “drop out rate” fall into that category.

About 15 years ago my next-door neighbors pulled their three kids out of the government schools and homeschooled them. More recently, my brother pulled his two younger kids out of the government schools and they are also now homeschooled. (The oldest already graduated, so it was too late for him.)

It's easier than ever in today's computer age to get your kids away from the amoral, debasing, horrific influence of the government schools and their teachers unions. A lot of homeschool courses are taken on-line.

The reason for publishing this booklet now is to provide you,as principals, educators, and school personnel, with accurate information that will help you respond to a recent upsurge in promotion of efforts to change sexual orientation through therapy and religious ministries. This upsurge has been coupled with a demand that these perspectives on homosexuality be given equal time in schools.
