I agree. Her ‘prom’ dress was not appropriate for the inauguration. I didn’t feel that she didn’t know better; I believe she didn’t care. I think she wanted the night that Americans take to celebrate/welcome a new president to be about her status climbing - and so she wore a debutante dress to say I have ARRIVED!
She has well toned arms, yes. But she will wear sleeveless fashion in cold weather because she couldn’t quite face going to that non-state-of-the-union address without being singled out for particular attention for her arms! I believe she could be stately in the right clothing and with a little coaching, and that is more than I can say for myself. But stately isn’t enough attention for her. She thinks public events are about her or should be about her personally- even if it’s her husbands speech.
You know - that seems like it’s kind of ‘it’; she is trying to compete with Obama for prestige and attention. At present, she is employing her ‘style’ because it worked for Jackie Onassis. I keep reading that ‘people are comparing her to Jackie’ but no one ever admits that the comparison is unfavorable.
She’s a no-class, affirmative action thugette.

They say she has a pretty face. Maybe; but take the lighting and makeup away and let’s see what we have. LOL

Why isn’t she being “rode hard and put away wet” like Sarah Palin was for clothes SHE GAVE BACK! This should be shoved in the face of every “journalist”, commentator, and bloviator at the alphabet networks! They need to back up their assertion that they are unbiased, because the only people who believe that is themselves!

Yeah, Michelle is such a looker. The only thing that would look good on her would be a burka. Palin is so beautiful that she could not look bad even if she tried.

Oh, I can see the similarities. Jackie was also a shallow status seeker, and the press worked very hard at giving her much undeserved favorable ink.
