Rush for president !!! He is giving an awesome speech, just what’s needed at this point in time. If Sarah Palin could give a speech this insightful, she might not even need the lipstick or the dresses. If Mitt Romney could give this speech, he’d be a conservative.

Thanks for letting folks know that Rush's speech will be dittoed at 8 and 11 PM tonight on C-Spam.

When Rush mentioned the Tea Parties going on across the fruited plain he got a standing 0.

He was so pumped tonight that he was like Don Knotts on speed. I think that's why he was so damn good. His whole hosting career formed the content and his heart formed the passion.

Do you see and feel the excitement on this thread?! It is the power of the visual...we HEAR Rush 5 days a week. We need him on TV. Many of the unwashed out there do NOT listen to him on the radio. They DO watch TV.

I guess the job is to persuade Rush to return (in some fashion) on a regular basis to the TV media.

I was there center right about 8 rows back. The energy was like a rock concert. When Rush came in we went nuts. When he realized we weren't going to quiet down he gave us the signal to rev it up. People went wild. I picked up a chair and shook it in the air.

Coulter was fantastic too.

We were about 6 rows in front of Rush at CPAC when he gave his "address to the nation" tonight... it was utterly outstanding. The GIANT ballroom at the Omni Shoreham hotel was packed to the gills, as were at least two overflow ballrooms (with live feeds set up in both for Rush's speech). Rush absolutely brought the house down. I don't think I've ever taken part in so many standing ovations for one speech before. We're all hoarse from screaming... LOL.

The price for CPAC was tough to take this year, but this appearance by Rush made it all worth it! (Although there were also many other incredible speakers and panels this year as well)

Rush did a good thing for our country with his CPAC speech.

1) he defined conservatism 2) He warned against the traps of dilution of the conservative message of freedom and prosperity 3) he warned that bipartisan musings are a trap 4) and he unapologetically explained why he wants Obama to fail, and why Obamas remaking of the country in his own image is a fatal mistake for Obama and for the nation. Good job Rush!!!!! Thank you!!!
