WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department on Monday released a long-secret legal document from 2001 in which the Bush administration claimed the military could search and seize terror suspects in the United States without warrants.

The legal memo was written about a month after the Sept. 11 terror attacks. It says constitutional protections against unlawful search and seizure would not apply to terror suspects in the U.S., as long as the president or another high official authorized the action.

The memo was one of nine released Monday by the Obama administration.

"The Saudi money bought him the election.

You are the first I've known to say that. Could you expand on it or explain? I've suspected it all along."

If you look at contribution amounts to Obama, there are literally millions of them that are odd amounts like $97.53 or $1754.36. Those are very indicative of foreign currency amounts that were converted to dollars.

It was uncovered late in the campaign (but not reported by the fawning media) that the Obama campaign had removed the address verification check on credit card transactions, thereby making it possible for credit card donations from anywhere in the world to be made without checking that they were coming from the US.

The visit to the M.E. was not the visit that you mention. It was an early visit during the primaries that sealed the deal. He either went country hopping or the heads of state congregated at one spot (Syria?).

The Muslim Obama logos were not photo-shopped jokes. They were a way to raise a great deal of Muslim money and Islamic support while back-door-ing campaign laws. The big money, however, was in the bundeling of foreign charge card donations.

We can’t do anything to Obama as long as nearly half the population still worships the guy.

Yes. It would also be really stupid to use violence. We’re already called hateful warmongers. The only way to stop liberalism is to let it destroy itself. Meanwhile, protect the innocent bystanders.

This isn’t shocking—wasn’t it declared ok by the patriot act?

Nothing new here. It has been long established that the Preident can suspend constitutional rights during time of war. If Obama and his cronies want to try to use this against Pres. Bush, let them try.

You're right of course, but I can't help but chuckle at the visual of a pack of 0bamunists searching FR page-to-page, trying to figure out if there are hidden coded messages in posts which reference terms like 'stuned', 'beeber', 'viking kitties', etc.

John has a long moustache.

The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor.

My Viking Kitties' Beebers are stuned.

(Tympanis play the 'V' for 'Victory' notes, Film-Noir Resistance fighters go from Gauloise-smoking torpor to franticly assembling Sten guns and digging lumps of Plastique out of hayricks)

Most of the capitalists are armed and able to fight just like the Irish did. Except we are smarter.

That said, I do not advocate breaking any laws. The ACLU has taken steps to be anonymous. Why would they do that? I bet that ACORN is also taking steps to be anonymous. Does that say anything?

Violence against him would be absolutely stupid. He must be defeated by votes. Every vote against democraps in the next election is like a bullet shot from a gun. It is the only way for us to be victorious.

They are ones who could destroy American.

Yes they could and might be the one doing a good job at it now.

I believe we have plenty of inside enemies that are willing to do their bidding, more than willing, they're working as fast as possible before the sheep stir from their nap.

Every day a new shoe drops on our freedom, our American way of life.

“Is Obama insane?”

it’s a point-of-view issue. Obama is following a Marxist-based plan to bring socialism to the USA. Eliminate capital, confiscate then redistribute wealth, diminish the middle class, and so on. To a Marxist it makes perfect sense, and they are happy to see it happening here and now.

To you and me, it’s insane- but we are not Marxists.

Remember Obama’s stated surprise when the Supremes, in Brown vs Board of Education, didn’t write in wealth redistribution? And he sees the Constitution as flawed because it does not allow Marxist redistribution schemes. To him, as a Marxist, that’s what’s insane.

Which of the non-seceded states did “the rebs” attack first?

They attacked federal property in Charleston. They also attempted to prevent the president from fulfilling his Constitutionally-mandated duties.

As far as non-seceded states, the rebs in concert with a rabidly pro-slavery governor and his legislator henchmen criminally ignored the expressed will of the people of the state of Tennessee and used the Confederate army to invade and overrun the non-seceded state. In took the Union army three years to drive out the Confederate invaders.
