I read that Benedict Arnold was the only general to defeat the British in any major battle. Is that right?

He and Ethan Allen led the brigade that captured Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain. he also led battles in Quebec and Saratoga, but i question the veracity of the statement that he was the only general to win a battle in that war.

If you get a chance to read about Arnold in battle do so. He was one of the best we had. God awful traitor but one hell of a warrior.
