Please, don’t be so rough on yourself and act out like this, it just isn’t healthy.

Sure, you might have guilt feelings now that you realize that one of your children is doing prison time due to you poor parenting, but you have to get past that now, my friend.

I see you reaching out, I feel your pain. I know you’re lonely, confused and that you can’t seem to get your life together. That’s why you’re striking out in anger.

I saw a clip of Al Gore tonight. He was giving his “How Dare You” speech. I am thinking that you worship this guy... you sure seem to emulate him, Sport.

You might be right about the teen. She well could be someone I would not like in person. But that makes the viewers of the tape more at arms length viewers.

I neither like nor dislike either of them. She could be as you suggest a real pain. He could be the nicest guy in the world. But alas if the nices guy in the world robs a bank, he is a perp. Similarly if the nices guy in the world assaults a child in custody, he is a perp too.

BTW, two additional issues have arisen to me thinking about this today:

1. What in the world was she doing in an adult jail being handled by two male deputies. Seatle does not have facilities for underaged prisoners nor woman deputies?

2. To reeforce point 1, the state cannot have it both ways. If they want to pretend that juvenile court is all about the state looking after the best interest of the child and the child has limited rights in juvenile courts, then the state as represented by these officers has a special duty of care for the child. Thus they should be charge with child abuse.
