Y'know, I didn't have text-books to take home for most of my classes also back in the 50's-60's, but the Teachers would either give us copies or mimeographed pages to use. Of course, thanks to the idiots in Congress and the excessive copyright terms in place now, they'd likely be doing jail time!

Old saying: Those that can, do; those that can't, teach; those that can't do or teach, administrate! Sure seems that's true in Philly.
