Don’t forget he’s been on CNBC for probably a decade and has to both gush over what’s happening in the bond market, long end, short end, try to explain “convexity”, plus discuss the various things infuencing the mkt that day, and he’s inevitably quite glib doing so. Not “er, uhhhh, uhhhh” at all, very chatty. Plus he’s generally got to talk over plenty of clamor going on around him, and that day, there were VERY few traders and thus the clamor was light, ergo, he could be heard. Twas a good rant!
