The days are dark right now. The Obama Administration, composed of some of the most anti-American, anti-freedom, and anti-Constitutional leaders we have ever seen, are busy daily deconstructing a free society that took 232 years to build.
For those that are perceptive, it can readily be seen that there is brewing on the horizon a battle of epic proportions in the political realm. Like the test Abraham Lincoln referred to in his Gettysburg Address in November,1863, we are met on a great political battlefield which will determine whether a nation founded in liberty will survive, or whether a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people will cease to exist.
These last six weeks have been terribly discouraging. But we must look beyond our discouragement, and gather the strength to battle the onslaught of horrible ideas and ethics that assault us daily from the White House.
We must remember our beginning, and remember the source of our strength for this battle. A generation of men in 1776 fought to establish a free country. The majority of them understood that the very concept of freedom is not from man, but from God.
Perhaps this simple video,with the music of Alan Jackson singing "How Great Thou Art", can help us remember the source of our freedom, of our strength, and of the cost paid by generations past so we could enjoy its blessings in our time.
Apart from the mercy and grace shown to man by a loving God, man could not embrace the ideals of freedom and compassion that undergird a free nation.
There may be some that take offense at this message, but we are past the time for taking offense. We have a spiritual heritage, and that heritage has been invoked for 232 years to remind us why freedom costs so much, and is so worth even the giving of life and limb for it.Many here on Free Republic have been called upon to defend America at various times and in far flung places.
Now, we are all called to defend our freedom, and to ensure its blessings upon our born and unborn posterity, like the patriots of old.
When we return to the source of freedom,we are given the strength to be victorious in any battle.

And, this evil jackass (The 2nd Hussein) is going to lead us down the road to tyranny by simultaneously destroying our economy. The stock market losses in February 2009 were the worst in 76 years, and the losses in the first two months were the worst in 113 years. Folks we are in a true depression and our kids are never going to recover—this is calculated destruction and we the people stand by and watch it all go down.

did you ever stop to consider this is a revolution and conservatives are looking a lot like angry pensioners after the first fall of the USSR. Just saying. I think this green crap is just a cute way of trying to get off the oil standard. Speaking of Russia, energy efficiency would hurt them more than any missile shield.

Zero’s stated goal is to double the amount of “green” power—which means going from 1% to 2%, at a staggering cost in tax credits and subsidies. And solar doesn’t work at night, nor do windmills turn on a windless day.
Where does the other 98% of power come from? Coal, Natural gas, oil and nuclear.
Nuclear is what we should be pushing—zero carbon emissions.
What is amazing is that Zero has any credibility at all in energy after his “electricity will necessarily skyrocket” comment.
The very first line drawn in the sand of the fight for freedom is this cap and trade globaloney. This has to be fought tooth and nail. It is that dangerous to America and frredom.

We are seeing the calculated death of capitalism and a free market economy and replacement with a nazi style of socialism. The money being wretched from the private sector, as markets fall in unison, is being replaced by handouts from Hussein’s socialists thugs to every sniveling liberal with a tin cup. This is Hussein’s redistribution of wealth that he promised, ie, money leaving the private sector being replaced with money by the government sector. Capitalism will continue to collapse as long as Hussein is in power and nothing will stop this rise of a truely evil ruler. Hussein is doing precisely as Mugabe is doing to Zimbabwe. We haven’t seen nothin yet.
