That district looks like a democrat set aside seat. Has a republican ever won an election there?....

Goodluck to the Chicago Lady.... Give them hell like they’ve not seen before.

?Michael Patrick Flanagan? won 1 term right after Rosty lost. How could he lose with an Irish name like that?

Yes, in the mid-90’s.

With a 15% voter turnout for yesterday’s primary, as long as the right voters see the urgency, they can overwhelmingly vote in Rosanna.

My guess is that those who support Obama won’t turn out in big numbers at that later time, even if Rahm comes back to campaign for this Democratic candidate.

Besides, I understand Rahm only gives 3 minutes of time to anyone in the Administration at any one time. Why would he campaign for a seat in the House which is overwhelmingly Democratic? A Senate seat would be something to spend time on.

Mike was a boozer who knew he only had one term. I met him at a business/political networking event and he was drunk and disinterested. I guess he knew that his 15 minutes were up by the next election.

I think Rahm’s property tax “problem” was proven to be not true.

Good point. The RNC is always begging Illinois conservatives for cash but it ends up going to some smug RINO who has done nothing for conservatives or a safe incumbant in another state. They want to demostrate our money will go to good use? They need to put their money where their mouth is and spend it on candidates WE support.

Time for Rush and other prominent conservatives in the media to pressure our friends at the RNC and NRCC.

Our Ill RNC chair is inept - more concerned about brown nosing his cronies than supporting true conservatives

Screw the RNC. It's our money and we should contribute directly to deserving conservative candidates. I just made a modest contribution and every conservative on FR and in the Country who is truly concerned with conservative values should do the same. There are no longer any "local" elections. It's the Conservatives against the liberals across the Country. If we want to win we must emulate the liberals in one way, put are money where are mouths are.

Absolutely. Send your money directly to candidates you trust. I long ago gave up on RNC, RNSC, etc.
