I also heard the Laura Ingraham interview.

IF you don’t like Steele and the GOP, join the democrats
and be up front.

We have an enemy, Marxist Obama.
I will keep up my fight against him while the anti GOP on FR, the allies of Obama have chosen their side.

That's the idiotic statement of the day on FR. You sound like a 'Rat saying that opposing Obama makes you an enemy of the state. If that's all you have to argue, you need to brush up on your rhetorical skills.

That is exactly the case here in Montana. The Democrats will never support open primaries. As a result we have at least one state senator who is unquestionably a liberal Democrat.

We also had an eccentric old geezer who beat out a legitimate Republican candidate in the primaries. The Republican Party in Montana has more than it’s share of RINOs. We are working to change that.

All the Pubbies have to do is what the Dims did to Lieberman, plus a little chi chi. Throw them out of the GOP Senate caucus. Then the chi chi: Strip them of any minority committee or subcommittee chairs they hold, and strip them of their GOP seniority vis a viz assignments. Then those three stooges can call themselves whatever they want.

You need to get out and away from podunk and realize
what is going on.
I have been in this fight even before working at Reagan’s headquarters when he first ran for Gov.

I agree with SoCalPol.
The socialists are coming in the front door and you can’t agree what Republican can have the gun and what Republican can have the ammo.

You need to focus on the big picture and quit allowing the MSM to dictate distractions that will cause massive failure.
Lack of agreement gets candidates like McCain.
Everyone wants to run the show at the RNC but it looks like the MSM is in charge, the sheeple are scattered, and the wolves are hungry.

Steele is leading us to permanent minority status. He refused to stand up to DL Hughly, and then was forced to apologize to a radio talk show host who exercised his first amendment rights. Hardly a shining example to follow.

Steele sucks. Period.

Still upset because Romney got dumped?

Steele isn’t leading us anywhere if you don’t give hin a chance.
The MSM is trying to lead us and you took the bait hook line and sinker.

If you don’t like Steele because he is black and a devout Catholic just say so

Your type, the DU trolls and third party loons really hate America

I agree 100% anyone who doesn't like Steele is either a racist or a DU troll.

State legislators control the laws that govern the primaries n each state. In states where Democrats control the state legislatures, some Republicans have challenged these state laws in court...and lost.

Thanks for the information. I did not know that.

Thanks for the info.

Rather idiotic law - why have parties then? It seems to me that the parties themselves should set the rules on how they want their candidates selected.

Romney would have made a much better president than Obama. Our economy might not be on the brink of failure if we had chosen him instead of "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" McCain. Thompson was my first choice but that didn't work out.

But I do agree that Steele should be given another chance. He's caught between angry conservatives and perpetually angry liberals, many of which are angry aggrieved blacks. I don't envy his position.

I don’t understand disgruntled_louisianan, in your profile you indicate you think Steele is a RINO but you don’t think him possibly holding RINO Senators feet to the fire is a good idea? That doesn’t jive.

Speaking of which per Poltics1.com ealier this week Toomny is now thinking of challenging Specter, polling shows 2/3 of GOP voters are pissed off at Arlen.

“PENNSYLVANIA. Former Congressman Pat Toomey (R) — who announced in January that he was thinking of running for Governor next year, but would not seek a rematch against US Senator Arlen Specter in the 2010 GOP primary — has had a change of heart. Toomey, president of of the conservative Club for Growth, now says he is “seriously” considering running against Specter because of Specter’s vote last month in support of the Obama stimulus package. Specter defeated Toomey by a 51-49 vote in the 2004 primary — and a new independent poll out this week shows that nearly two-thirds of GOP primary voters say they plan to vote for a conservative primary challenger against Specter next year.”

PA could be one of our best chances at a ‘pickup’.

ALso Larry Kudlow is thinking of challenging Dodd in CT.

(And Alexi Giannoulias who I thought would be indicted before Blago is running against Burris, lol)

Steele has a major problem of agreeing with every host he’s on with.
