Barbara Bush had open-heart surgery. She's fine. This should be of interest to you however. As soon as we get the Democrat's nationalized medicine your chances of getting open-heart surgery at her age will be somewhat similar to my chances of waking up tomorrow with a full head of hair.
Commissar Obama is really pushing this nationalized medicine thing. Remember .. in Obama's mind America's greatness comes from government - on only government can provide us with a great health care system. Private sector? Forget it. If there are any certainties in our life - one would be the certainty of rationed health care in our future.
“CLASSY LADY ... BEST WISHES TO HER”
The last ‘Classy Lady” in the White House so far.
She is indeed a classy lady.
A couple years down the road and an unemployed machinist could have been the one doing surgery under a work program...
God Bless the Bush Family with good health!
Today also in the wall street journal, democrats upset at mortgage interest and donation cuts to income over $250,000.00. The answer by one was to look for budget cuts. I was impressed. Still another could only look for plans to force every American to take the government run healthcare they are devising, reduce employer paid health care tax cuts. If providing health care coverage to their employees no longer offers beneficial tax cuts you can kiss any of them offering it goodbye. It would bankrupt them once and for all. Obama and his thieves then force eveeryone to be on universal rationed healthcare and therefore pay for all, illegals, welfare who will not pay a dime into the system. Medicare recepients deserve what they paid for when they earned income and paid into SS programs. They do not deserve to be lined up next to illegals for medical care.

We do not have a health-care crisis. The truth is that the overwhelming majority of Americans have health insurance in some form and are reasonably satisfied with it. The infamous "46 million uninsured" include millions who are between jobs and temporarily without insurance, children (who will now be under the expanded State Children's Health Insurance Program), young middle-class adults (who are priced out of the insurance market by mandates such as guaranteed issue), and illegal aliens. The truth is that health care is accessible to all in the U.S. and that our health-care quality is the highest. That's why people come here for care, as opposed to Michael Moore's utopia, Cuba. Look at how well the government has run Amtrak, education, energy, banking and the post office. Putting the government fully in charge of health care will lead to spiraling costs, loss of quality, rationing by "cost effectiveness," long waits for service, and the destruction of the greatest health-care system the world has ever known. ********************************* Real health-care reform should be based on twin pillars: access to coverage for all Americans, and coverage that is truly owned and controlled by patients. At its core, health care is a personal relationship between patients and doctors, but our current system relies on third-party decision-making that results in a lack of accountability, flexibility and efficiency. Quality, affordable health care can and should be available to all Americans, but the path to that goal does not run through a Washington bureaucracy. As the debate on health-care reform begins in earnest, I encourage all Americans to investigate the facts for themselves. We cannot afford to do otherwise. Rep. Tom Price (R., Ga.) ********************************* Sens. Baucus and Kennedy do not understand that subsidizing health insurance will not reduce the cost of health care. Someone must pay the subsidy, and it will only increase demand and bid up the price even further. If Congress wants to reduce the cost of health care, it should increase supply, which would drive down prices. The most effective way to increase supply is to increase the number of doctors, nurses and other health-care professionals by reducing the regulatory and accreditation barriers that artificially restrict the number of medical schools, and hence the number of young people who can attend medical school.
I met her in NYC at an event. I asked her about her dog and she started just telling all kinds of stories.
America’s “Queen Mum”
Best wishes and prayers to Mrs. Bush.
CLASSY LADY ... BEST WISHES TO HER
The last Classy Lady in the White House so far.
______
Not a Laura fan?
She is a great lady and as first wives she and her daughter in law brought grace and dignity to the White House.
Absolutely!
Post of the day award!
I agree with you about Barbara Bush,(elder)but what about Laura?
I meant Laura. I had the wrong first lady. Sorry
Laura is who I meant. I had the wrong person. Sorry
I think Laura Bush was just as classy.
Both wonderful women.
Cheers~
The media loves to rip apart the nice people...the Bushes were very nice and always respectful. Didn’t blame others in public or retaliate. Now the One is a different story, and hopefully, people will realize what a stuffed shirt he is. He couldn’t wait to start naming Bush for all kinds of things and will allow the prosecution of Bush for anything anybody deems suitable. What a jerk. NOT a classy person at all, but one who thinks he is better than anyone else, the typical self-righteous fool.
The story is right and wrong.
When Obamacare comes in people like you and I are not going to be getting open hearts surgery, but people like Barbara Bush will be getting it.
You see even if Barbara was turned down by Obamacare, she has the wherewithal to afford it on her own.
The rich will live, the poor and Middle class will die. It’s just that simple.
