Regarding salty talk aimed at the president (or other officials) vs visits from the SS
March 5, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 03/05/2009 12:43:09 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Unfortunately, we are saddled with a communist sympathizer in the White House. I don't know whether or not he's an actual card carrying commie, but he's definitely an America-hating, anti-capitalist Marxist leftist who thinks communism is the way to go. Now I remember when America used to fight against communism. It wasn't that long ago. Many of us on FR are veterans of wars against communism and some of us believe that American citizens who are communists are the enemy within, ie, the domestic enemy we've sworn to defend against. American citizen? hmmmm... that may be a loophole for Obama.

At any rate, the oath is to defend our constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. I can imagine that this places an enormous strain on our Secret Service agents. It's obvious to anyone with a brain that Obama is an enemy of the constitution. So should the SS defend the constitution or defend the anti-constitution commie?

So now comes the problem. If you feel it's your duty to call Obama a traitor and use salty language in your proposed resolution, ie, suggest the commie be keelhauled, walked off the plank, run up the yardarm, tarred and feathered and run out of Dodge, etc, etc, etc, you may be facing a visit from your friendly Secret Service. And even though your visiting agent may agree politically, and may take his oath to the constitution seriously, he's still sworn to protect the officeholder and it's his duty to take all threats seriously. And that may include serving me with a subpoena to turn over your IP address. Now I'm duty bound to protect your privacy to the best of my ability, but I cannot defend against stupidity.

Best advice I can give is to keep it to yourself. Don't post anything that may embarrass you later, or end you up in the slammer.

Ever vigilant.

Keep your powder dry.

Jim,

I want you to know, I am not going to say anything that would cause you grief, and I don’t think I have said anything that was too bad about Obama, maybe Obama should send out a list of what we can and can notsay about him, before the SS comes to visit.
It’s just that Obama is so sensitive, I don’t suppose we can talk about his big ears anymore either.

Yeah, he did post stupid, and hateful. Maybe I was being too charitable in thinking that drunk was part of the equation.

Jim, you do realize this is what they want to do to everyone? No criticism at all.

I've been biting my lip but, I don't know if I can stomach much more of this censorship. (not yours, theirs)

Here is just my opinion/thought.
The man sitting in the oval office is simply a temporary steward of that office. No matter what we think of him, be it policy wise or if he is Constitutionally eligible, until his term ends, be it through election or legal removal such as impeachment, he represents the office of the President.

Any threat or act of violence against the office is an act against this country.

The Constitution gives us several reset buttons, impeachment, election, etc. In essence, our having to deal with Bambi is our punishment for not properly selling Conservative values and fronting a Conservative candidate.

That’s just my opinion.. take it for what it is worth (less than 2c)

think I know why Barry wants our IP numbers, he wants to come dig in our yards and look for our tin cans of buried treasures.

We can fool him by hiding our money in the bank, these days that’s the last place they’d look.

I will though try and remember and respect, that posting here is a privilege and its your house.

Thanks for the forum, Jim.

That is the common definition, not what I think. It is how that comment will be dealt with. Right or wrong, it just is how it is..

I don’t suppose we can talk about his big ears anymore either.

Just talk about one big ear instead of both...then its only half as bad.

What if he decides differently.

If we get to that point, the entire country will be different and any 'what if's' we may talk about now we couldn't even imagine then. I try not to deal with what if's because they are infinite.

My best friend is a SS agent, we were Pheasant hunting yesterday and you should have heard his comments about our "president." He may need to visit himself.

Ahh, you can be as critical of the constitution hating Marxist traitor as you want. Just don’t say anything that can be construed to meaning you wish violence be done to him.

I say the people will soon tire of his Marxism and eventually his crimes will catch up to him and he will be impeached and will serve his next term for life. Or perhaps just ten to twenty.

The Dow is in full retreat, 401ks are dropping like stones, unemployment and debt on the rise and the Marxist catastrophe has barely begun. I see pitchforks and torches on the horizon. Even the libs are not going to enjoy Cuban style poverty.
